Universal Woman 2024 is Maria Gigante of the Philippines


Maria Gigante, representing the Philippines, was crowned Universal Woman 2024 in a glittering competition held on Friday, March 22 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The 30-year-old host, model, and entrepreneur hailing from Cebu, Philippines, edged out over 40 other contestants to win the international title.

Lisandra Chirinos of Venezuela was named first runner-up while Elisa Mysyshyne of France, Brianna Mai of Cambodia, and Tavera Pena Chabelli of the Dominican Republic were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

This year's competition marked the second edition of the Universal Woman pageant. Valentina Sanchez Trivella, the first winner from Venezuela, crowned her successor at the end of the event.

"Congratulations on your well-deserved victory! Your journey, filled with inspiring projects and unwavering dedication, serves as a beacon of hope and empowerment for women worldwide," posted on the Universal Woman's social media page.

"Now, let's unite in celebration and continue to uplift and inspire others to embrace their inner Universal Woman. Together, we can make a difference!"
