Miss Kyrgyzstan 2021 Altynai Botoyarova has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 21 as Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2022. The 18-year-old model, who was named Miss Kyrgyzstan in September last year, will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana this January. She will be the second representative of her country at Miss Universe. Prior to winning her title, she first joined her national pageant in 2020 at age 16 and got the opportunity to compete in the 70th Miss World. Due to her desire to participate in Miss Universe instead, she gave Miss Kyrgyzstan another try the following year and won. Miss Polski organization has officially confirmed on Wednesday, September 21 that Aleksandra Klepaczka will be representing Poland at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana this January. The 23-year-old IT company employee was crowned Miss Polski 2022 from a field of 24 finalists during the national competition held on July 17 in Nowy Sącz. She hails from Bukowiec and is pursuing a management engineering degree at the Lodz University of Technology. Miss Kanagawa, Shiori Kojima, was named Miss Japan 2022 in a national final held on Friday, September 16 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. The 27-year-old advertising agency employee triumphed over 41 other finalists to win her title. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Nanaha Takaoka of Ehime, Risa Kitano of Tokyo, Kanako Tamura of Kumamoto, and Akari Motojima of Nagano.
