Miss Grand Ohio Ivana Garcia was crowned Miss Grand USA 2025 in a national competition held last Monday, August 18 in Las Vegas. The 23-year-old model and entrepreneur will represent the USA at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's winner Cora Griffen. Andrea Valentina Nunez of East Coast was named first runner-up while Rachelle di Stasio of Washington, Christianah Adejokun of Southern States, and Emely Aleman of Tennessee were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 10 were Shirley Ramirez of Florida, Perpetua Smith of New York, Janiya Pipkin of North Carolina, April Rodriguez of South, and MeKayla Burnett of West Coast. Christine Juliane Opiaza, the reigning Miss Grand International from the Philippines, attended the event as a special guest. The 22-year-old medical student and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Guyana at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Malika Allicock and Khadesia Walker were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The 30-year-old model, host, and news anchor from Pampanga bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner and reigning Miss Grand International Christine Juliane Opiaza. Anita Rose Gomez of Zambales, Francesca Beatriz McLelland of Aklan, Michelle Arceo of Taguig, and Nikhisah Buenafe Cheveh of Quezon City were crowned Miss Asia Pacific International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Tourism World, and Face of Beauty Philippines 2025, respectively. Naisae Yona was crowned Miss Universe Tanzania 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, August 23 at The Super Dome in Masaki. The 28-year-old economic graduate, a mother and entrepreneur from Dar es Salaam will represent Tanzania at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Celline Mollel and Shifa Adam were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 5 were Brenda Callixte and Rania Khalid. This year's glittering competition was hosted by former Miss Universe, international TV host and actress Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa. The 26-year-old international strategic consultant is a graduate of the European Business School Paris with a master's degree in digital business and e-commerce.
