Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 registration is now open

The registration is now officially open for Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 national competition. As announced on its social media, the pageant will take on the theme "Colors of the Earth." If you have what it takes to follow the footsteps of Nellys Pimentel who was crowned Miss Earth 2019, you can register until June 2021. The competition is open to applicants who are 18 to 28 years old. Cristina Mariel Ríos of San Sebastian who has recently replaced Valerie Vigoreaux Cortés as the new Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 is expected to compete at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant later this year. Dominican Republic's Maria Vargas crowned Miss Petite International 2020

Maria Vargas, representing the Dominican Republic, was crowned Miss Petite International 2020 in a glittering competition held last Saturday, March 27 in San Salvador, El Salvador. The 25-year-old beauty succeeded Miss Petite International 2019, Diana Garcia of Panama. She was born in La Romana province and holds a social communication degree in audiovisual production. Naisha Bautisma of Curacao and Elizabeth Rodríguez of El Salvador were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Teen Petite International 2020 Jacqueline Albarran of the United States of America was also crowned in a separate competition. Alejandra Suárez to represent Hidalgo at Miss Mexico 2022

Alejandra Suárez was named Miss Hidalgo 2021 in a state competition held at the municipality of Real del Monte last Saturday, March 27. The 24-year-old beauty representing Pachuca is a dance student at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo). The 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas will be held on Saturday, April 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Thirty-four contestants are vying for the beauty titles at stake. Binibining Pilipinas 2021 winners are expected to represent the Philippines at the next Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Globe international competitions. The anticipated national pageant, to be hosted by actor Xian Lim and former Miss Universe Catriona Gray, will take place with no live audience allowed at the venue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. United States of America's Abena Appiah crowned Miss Grand International 2020

Ghanian-born singer and model representing the United States of America, Abena Appiah, was crowned Miss Grand International 2020 on Saturday, March 27 at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old beauty bested 62 other contestants to win the coveted title. She succeeds Valentina Figuera of Venezuela to become the 8th woman to hold the international title and the first black winner. Samantha Bernardo of the Philippines was named first runner-up while Ivana Batchelor of Guatemala finished second runner-up. Aurra Kharishma of Indonesia and Lala Guedes of Brazil were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Malaysia (Miss Popular Vote), Czech Republic, Puerto Rico, Thailand, and Argentina were the rest of the Top 10 while Cambodia (Country’s Choice of the Year), Mexico, Peru, Japan, El Salvador, Panama, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Myanmar, England, and Kenya were the rest of the Top 20.
