FAVORITES: Miss Grand International 2020 Final 6 choices for the crown

The day has arrived. Tonight is Miss Grand International 2020 final and one of the 63 contestants will take home the golden crown and embark on a year-long journey of a lifetime.

Who will be the next Miss Grand International? The contestants did an amazing job in representing their respective countries and they are all equally deserving, but there can only be one ultimate winner.

Here are the contestants we picked for the coveted crown and whom we thought would make a great representative of the MGI organization:

Miss Universe Philippines 2025 is Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province

Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on Friday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 27-year-old from  Candelaria bested 65 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa is a former  Binibining Pilipinas International titleholder who went on to place first runner-up at the Miss International 2018 competition in Japan. She eventually joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and finished second runner-up. The national organization then awarded her the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines. In October last year, she was sent to compete in the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam where she made the Top 10. Miss Universe Croatia 2025 is Laura Gnjatović from Zadar

Laura Gnjatović beat 13 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2025 on Monday, April 28 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 23-year-old nursing student from Zadar was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Zrinka Ćorić. She will now prepare to represent Croatia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Lea Turkalj from Vukovar was named first runner-up while Dolores Kraševac from Kamanje, Ana Čulina from Svinjarevci and Rafaela Bartulović from Bjelovar were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The five stunning contestants vying for the title of Miss Universe Curacao 2025 have been officially revealed. Their bio and official photos have been posted on the pageant's social media page. Seven deserving winners who will represent the Philippines at various international male pageants have been chosen among 26 contestants. Zainab Jama, 23, has been officially announced to represent Somalia at the 72nd Miss World competition in Hyderabad, India this May. The new Miss World Somalia holds a degree in aviation and airport management and is passionate about global opportunities and cultural exchange. As the founder of the Female Initiative Foundation, she is a dedicated activist against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), using her platform to protect and empower young girls. Beyond advocacy, Zainab enjoys football, modeling, and poetry. No stranger to pageantry, she has previously joined the Miss Global 2023 pageant in Vietnam where she made the Top 13. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the sixth edition of the annual pageant has culminated last night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Heavy favorite Maria Ahtisa Manalo, 27, from Candelaria, Quezon Province, bagged the crown among 66 contestants following a tough competition. The Philippines last won the Miss Universe crown in 2018 with Catriona Gray when the pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand. This year, with another strong representation expected from the country, especially since it's being held in the same host location, the possibility of clinching the fifth crown seems quite achievable. Meet the 5 winners of Miss Czech Republic 2025

The Miss Czech Republic 2025 national final took place on Saturday, May 3 at the Forum Karlín in Prague. Ten finalists competed the crowns at stake. Linda Górecká clinched the title of Miss World Czech Republic 2025 and is expected to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World. The 21-year-old student from Dětmarovice was crowned by none other than the reigning Miss World and Czech Republic's very own Krystyna Pyszková. Reigning Miss Grand International Rachel Gupta from India was also present to crown the winner of Miss Grand Czech Republic 2025 Markéta Mörwicková. Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. She also joined the Top Model of the World competition in Egypt and made the Top 16. Apart from the new Miss Universe Zambia, 24-year-old Faith Bwalya clinched the title of Miss World Zambia 2025 and will head to the 72nd Miss World in India this coming May. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. "I am deeply honored to be standing here as your new Miss World Thailand. Carrying not only the crown and the sash, i carry with me the hopes and the spirit of my people, my nation," she said during her speech.
