Maja Čolić was crowned Miss Slovenije 2020/21 in a national competition that took place last June 27 in Hrastnik. The 21-year-old beauty from Ribnica is a student of economics and international business. She bested 14 other contestants to win the national title. Lina Jenšac and Neža Simčič were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Maja succeded Miss Slovenije 2019 Špela Alič and will now prepare to represent Slovenia at the Miss World 2021 pageant later this year in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Michoacán representative Karolina Vidales was crowned Miss Mexico 2021 at Lago Di Como in Chihuahua on Saturday, July 3. The 24-year-old beauty holds a bachelor's degree in business administration. She bested 31 other contestants from across Mexico to win the national competition.  Karolina will represent her country at Miss World 2021 to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Jalisco's Mariana Macías was named Miss Mexico Grand 2021 and will be sent to the Miss Grand International 2021 later this year. Previous winners, Ashley Alvídrez Estrada and Angela Yuriar crowned their respective successors at the end of the event. Normandy's Candice Guivarch was crowned Miss Elegance France 2021 in a competition held last June 26 at Splendid Hotel in Dax, Landes. The 21-year-old model and business school student from Etalondes, Seine-Maritime, bested 19 other contestants to win the national title. Amélie Gigan was named first runner-up while Eléa-Loup Gautier, Marie Victoire Schwerdel and Solène Girard were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miranda representative and Miss Venezuela 2020 Top 5 finalist, Luiseth Materán, has been officially announced as Miss Universo Venezuela 2021 on Friday, July 2 in Caracas. The 24-year-old social communication graduate is a model and actress. She is currently filming "Intriga tras cámara" television series that will premiere on Televen, in which she will play the leading character. Luiseth will represent Venezuela at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. A commercial pilot from Punta Fogón, Massiell Llamas, has been officially appointed as Señorita Panamá Grand 2021 (Miss Grand Panama) over the weekend. The 23-year-old beauty succeeds last year's titleholder Angie Keith and will now prepare to represent Panama at the Miss Grand International 2021 competition later this year. Massiell holds a bachelor's degree in aviation administration and presently a master's degree student in business administration with emphasis on human resources. The new Miss Grand Panama is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously held the title of Reina de Calle de Las Tablas and won the international Miss Teenager pageant in 2016. An actress, model, pianist, and a trained dancer, Cynthia Linnet Lau, has been officially announced as Miss Earth Cuba 2021 in a special ceremony held on Sunday, June 27 in Miami, Florida. The 25-year-old beauty with Chinese, Spanish, and Cuban roots was born in Holguin, Cuba, but grew up in the United States. She has a double degree in health sciences and psychology. Cynthia was crowned by former titleholder Ariana Barouk and will now prepare to represent Cuba at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. The new Miss Earth Cuba is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously held the title of Miss Intercontinental Cuba and joined the Miss Intercontinental 2018 pageant held in the Philippines. A 26-year-old journalist from Juiz de Fora (Minas Gerais), Lorena Rodrigues, has been officially crowned as Miss Grand Brazil 2021. Lorena succeeds last year's Miss Grand Brazil and Miss Grand International 2020 fourth runner-up, Lala Guedes. She will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant. Miss Florida, Sophia Acosta, bested 16 other contestants to win the title of Miss Supranational USA 2021 in a national competition held last June 19 in Rosemont, Illinois. The runners-up were Felicity Véliz, Natalie Iman Duvalsaint, Devon Caleyy and Alexis Orozco. Sophia is expected to represent the United States at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant to be held in Poland. "I have no words to express how blessed and honored I feel after being crowned Miss Supranational USA. It has been a long journey of hard work, dedication, and determination. Nisa Van Baelen was crowned Miss Exclusive 2021 (Miss Earth Belgium) in a national competition held at Sotto's in Zottegem on Saturday, June 26. Miss Silver State, Kataluna Enriquez, edged out over 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Nevada USA 2021 in a state competition held on Sunday, June 27 in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeds last year's winner Victoria Olona of Paradise. She will represent the state of Nevada at the Miss USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma this November.
