Miss New York, Corrin Stellakis, was crowned Miss U.S. International 2021 in a national competition held last Friday, June 25 in Kissimmee, Florida. The 24-year-old makeup artist, entrepreneur, pageant coach and personal trainer succeeded last year's winner, Maritsa Platis. Corrin is no stranger to pageantry as she previously held the title of Miss Earth United States, went on to compete in the Miss Earth 2016 pageant in the Philippines and later on was appointed as Miss Earth - Fire 2016. The new Miss U.S. International is expected to represent her country at the Miss International 2022 pageant in Japan. "This is still surreal. I feel so beyond blessed. María José Sazo has been officially named Miss Grand Guatemala 2021 on Sunday, June 20. She succeeds Ivana Batchelor, who was second runner-up at Miss Grand International 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand last March. The 21-year-old journalist and communication science student will represent her country Guatemala at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Madison Lynn Callaghan of North Carolina was crowned Miss Grand United States of America 2021 in a national competition held on Sunday, June 22 in Rosemont, Illinois. The 25-year-old entrepreneur succeeds Abena Appiah and will represent the USA at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Taylor Gipson was named first runner-up while Gennesis Padron was the second runner-up. Sydney Rose and Emily Argo were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey has arrived in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday, June 22 for her first official international tour since winning her title. The American beauty was invited by the Miss Exclusive organization headed by Ken Stevens, a Belgian franchise holder for the Miss Earth pageant. Lindsey was graciously welcomed at the airport by last year's Miss Earth Belgium Kimbery Bosman. She was then taken to her accommodation at the Manos Premier luxury hotel, which is just off fashionable Avenue Louise and in walking distance to the city center. The reigning queen will grace the final competition of Miss Exclusive 2021 (Miss Earth Belgium) on June 26, whose winner will represent Belgium at Miss Earth 2021 later this year. A 24-year-old beauty of Indian descent from North Carolina, Shivali Patel, was officially announced as the new Miss Supranational USA 2020 on Tuesday, June 15. The e-commerce executive and author assumed the national title after Madeleine Overby made the difficult decision to step down and relinquish her duties. Shivali is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously joined the Miss World America pageant twice and placed as runner-up. She will now prepare to compete for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021 this August in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. Venezuelan-born beauty Gabriella Rodriguez was crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2020 in a national competition held on Tuesday, June 15 in Braga. The 22-year-old model and factory production assistant who represented the district of Viana do Castelo bested 13 other finalists to succeed last year's titleholder Ivanna Rohashko. Gabriella now holds the title of Miss Earth Portugal 2021 and will represent the southern European country at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Tiisetso Seliane bested 10 other finalists to be crowned Miss Lesotho 2021 at the Manthabiseng Convention Centre in Maseru last May 29. The 24-year-old aspiring teacher from Hlotse is currently an education student at the National University of Lesotho (NUL). Poelano Mothisi was named the first princess while Rapelang Ntsane became the second princess. The new Miss Lesotho will represent her southern African country at the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2021) pageant later this year in San Juan, Puerto Rico. "I have always known that life will lead me to a career that will put me in front of people. I enjoy the freedom to be myself, loving, caring, crazy and loud," she said. Miss Universe Philippines organization has finally got rid of its minimum height requirements for this year's competition. Maria Thattil, Miss Universe Australia 2020 and 69th Miss Universe Top 10 placer, has lauded the national organization for changing its rules. The age requirement was also adjusted. Although the minimum age is still 18 years old but entrants should be under 28 years old at the time of the national pageant. Other requirements stayed the same. Entrants must be Filipino citizens and Philippine passport holders, at least a high school graduate and female, who has never been married nor has borne children. National director Shamcey Supsup-Lee's statement in an interview regarding transgender women became controversial. She said that they will accept transgender applicants as long as they can provide legal proof of being female and have already gone through reassignment surgery. Thailand's representatives for the Miss and Mister Supranational 2021 have been officially announced. A 26-year-old public relations and image management graduate of Bangkok University, Benjarat Akkarawanichsil Aebi, was named Miss Supranational Thailand 2021. She succeeds Anntonia Porsild, who is currently the reigning Miss Supranational. The Mister Supranational Thailand 2021 title was designated to Nipun Kaewruan. He is a 19-year-old athlete and aerospace engineering student at Kasetsart University.
