Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan has been officially announced as Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 on Saturday, July 24. The 28-year-old international flight attended and Philippine Air Force (PAF) reservist was voted by her fellow Miss World Philippines contestants. Miss World Philippines 2021 was scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 25 at Okada Manila but moved to August 8 due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Philippines will represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant in Poland this August. Israel to host the 70th Miss Universe pageant

For the first time in history, the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant will be hosted in Israel. Israel's Tourism Ministry and the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) made the official announcement on Tuesday, July 20. A Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, Israel is regarded by Jews, Christians, and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. "Israel has been on our shortlist of host countries for a number of years due to its rich history, beautiful landscapes, myriad of cultures, and appeal as a global tourist destination," the MUO President Paula Shugart said. The international pageant is set to take place this December in the country's southernmost city of Eilat, a southern Israeli port and resort town on the Red Sea, near Jordan. It is renowned for its spectacular combination of the surrounding desert landscape, the beautiful bay, and the summer sun that shines all year round. Miss Earth Japan 2021 is Konatsu Yoshida of Hokkaido

Miss Hokkaido, Konatsu Yoshida, was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2021 in a national pageant held on Tuesday, July 20 in Tokyo. The 26-year-old professional ballet dancer studied art in Berlin, Germany, and joined the Hamburg National Theatre. She aspires to become a model and actress in the future. Aomori's Haruka Miura placed second while Mari Fujita of Osaka and Rina Takehara of Tokyo completed the Top 4 finalists. They were named Miss Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. The new Miss Earth Japan bested 26 other finalists during the competition. She will now prepare to represent Japan at Miss Earth 2021 later this year. Ora Antonia Ivanišević bested 14 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2021 on Wednesday, July 14 at Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. The 20-year-old tourism management student from Dubrovnik succeeds last year's winner Mirna Naiia Marić. She will represent Croatia at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant later this year. Lorena Mustać from Privlaka and Ozana Franović from Split were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Matea Babić and Ivona Gradečak completed the Top 5. The new Miss Universe Croatia is a skilled make-up artist and hairstylist and speaks fluent English and Russian. Her hobbies include volunteering at the Down Syndrome Association's home. Ornella Karruku, a 23-year-old Albanian-German was named Miss Earth Albania 2021 while educator, model and activist Vonesa Alijaj clinched the Miss Earth Kosovo 2021 title. Masbate representative Hannah Arnold bested over 30 other contestants to win the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant on Sunday, July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The 24-year-old Filipino-Australian science advocate and model took home the title of Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 (Miss International Philippines) in her second attempt at the national competition. "Freedom of speech is a basic human right that we all must remember and it is important for democracy and with the upcoming elections, we definitely need free speech.
