Over 50 contestants from around the world are currently in Poland competing for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021. Following their official sashing ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Krakow over the weekend, the contestants were taken to spectacular sightseeing. They visited the historical city of Krakow, the second largest and one of the oldest cities in the host country, and the famous Stacja Narciarska in Jaworzyna Krynicka where they enjoyed the clear views of the Tantra mountains and a thrilling 10-minute cable-car ride. Standouts are the Philippines, Belgium, Namibia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, USA, Indonesia, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Romania, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Czech Republic, India, and Poland. Miss Parañaque City, Naelah Alshorbaji, was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2021 in a virtual coronation held on Sunday, August 8. The 23-year-old Filipino-Syrian commercial model and mental health advocate bested 65 other beauties from across her country to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth - Water Roxanne Allison Baeyens of Baguio City. Ameera Almamari, Rocel Angelah Songano, Roni Meneses, and Sofia Grace Galve were named Miss Philippines Air, Water, Fire, and Eco-Tourism, respectively. Naelah will represent the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Sophia Hrivňáková bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Slovensko 2021 on Saturday, August 7 in Bratislava. The 21-year-old pharmacy student and dancer from Banská Štiavnica succeeds Leona Novoberdaliu. She is expected to represent Slovakia at the Miss World 2022 pageant. Sylvia Šulíková and Jana Vozárová were the first and second runners-up, respectively. They will be sent to Miss International and Miss Supranational competitions. The Top 10 finalist of the Miss South Africa 2021 national competition was virtually announced on Tuesday, August 3 on the pageant's online platform. Four finalists are from Gauteng, three from Western Cape, two from Eastern Cape and one from KwaZulu-Natal. They are Zimi Mabunzi, Jeanni Mulder, Bianca Bezuidenhout, Cheneil Hartzenberg, Kgothatso Dithebe, Catherine Groenewald, Moratwe Masima, Kaylan Matthews, Lalela Mswane and Tiffany Francis. The distinguished panel of judges includes former Miss South Africa titleholders Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala (2010), Liesl Laurie (2015), Melinda Bam (2011), and Tamaryn Green (2018). Thessaly Zimmerman was crowned Miss Universe Aruba 2021 last Friday, July 30 at the House of Mosaic in Oranjestad. The 26-year-old social media coordinator holds a bachelor's degree in communication. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Helen Hernandez. "I cannot express how proud I am to be the newly crowned Miss Universe Aruba 2021," Thessaly posted online. Miss Patagonia, Carol Drpic, was crowned Miss Mundo Chile 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Santiago last June 26. The 21-year-old kinesiology student and classical ballet dancer will represent Chile at the Miss World 2021 pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Miss West Midlands, Evanjelin Elchmanar, was crowned Miss International UK 2021 in a glittering competition held at the the Park Hall Hotel in Lancashire last July 23. The 21-year-old beauty of Sri Lankan descent and former Miss Teen Great Britain succeeded previous winner and Miss International runner-up, Harriotte Lane. Alejandra Gavidia was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2021 during the Reinado de El Salvador 2021 competition held on Thursday, July 29 in San Salvador. The 25-year-old beauty bested six other finalists to succeed last year's titleholder, Vanessa Velásquez. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and government and a master’s degree in image consulting and political consulting. Alejandra will represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel later year. El Salvador has yet to win its first Miss Universe. The representatives of Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant have been crowned on July 24 in Banja Luka. Ines Radoncic, who recently completed a BA in International Business and Finance at the International University of Sarajevo, was named Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021. Andrijana Nina Delibašić, a law student and a professional model, clinched the Miss Earth Montenegro 2021 title. Ana Brzanova, A 21-year-old financial management student and cancer survivor from Gevgelija, won the title of Miss Earth North Macedonia 2021. Shariengela Cjintje bested seven other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2021 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 24 at the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort in Willemstad. The 28-year-old beauty was born in the Netherland and holds a master's degree in law. She authored a book "Release Your Amazon" and hopes "to inspire every woman and girl to live their dreams and every step I take is directed towards that goal."
