The Miss International Organization has revealed that the 60th Miss International pageant (Miss International 2022) will be held in Japan this December. There is no specific date and venue for the final yet but what is confirmed right now is that the competition will finally take place later this year. The organizers also said, "Prior to the arrival of all the delegates, we will make sure that each one has been taking part in various activities that promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals." Beauties For SDGs is Miss International's humble way to utilize our national titleholders' influence in spreading awareness, as well as actively taking part in SDGs initiatives in their own country or region. The Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant was held on Saturday, April 30 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Miss Santa Elena, Annie Zambrano, was proclaimed Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador). The 22-year-old entrepreneur who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in languages will represent Ecuador at Miss World 2022 later this year. Another winner of the competition is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. Gabriela Andrade and María Paula López were proclaimed Virreina Nacional and first princess, respectively. Last year's titleholders Amar Pacheco and Justeen Cruz successfully relinquished their reigns to their respective successors at the end of the event. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska of Poland and Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe of Namibia were special guests at the national competition.

Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Ecuador as a special guest in the upcoming Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador (CNB Ecuador) 2022 national pageant. Karolina's one-week tour of the South American country includes a reunion with her Miss World sister Amar Pacheco Ibarra, a meeting with the vice mayor of Guayaquil Josué Sánchez, a visit to the chocolate museum, and a trip to the Galápagos Islands as part of a marine conservation project. Miss and Mister Supranational Organization has officially announced today that the 13th Miss Supranational and the 6th Mister Supranational competition will return to the city of Nowy Sacz in Małopolska, Poland this June and July. “Last year, our contestants truly enjoyed the beauty of the spectacular landscapes of Malopolska in the summer as well as the warmth of the local people. During the Festival of Beauty, we enjoyed a variety of activities that we showed proudly to our global audience. We are planning even more exciting adventures this year,” the organization president Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski said in a statement. The Miss Supranational 2022 final show will be broadcast from the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater on Friday, July 15 while Mister Supranational 2022 is on Saturday, July 16.
