Miss Universe Kosovo 2023 is Arbesa Rrahmani from Ferizaj

The Miss Universe Albania & Kosovo 2023 national final took place on Thursday, June 1 at the Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana, Albania. Arbesa Rrahmani was crowned Miss Universe Kosova (Miss Universe Kosovo 2023) alongside Endi Demneri who was proclaimed Miss Universe Albania 2023. The 21-year-old model and actress from Ferizaj, Kosovo succeeds last year's titleholder Roksana Ibrahimi and will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2023. Kosovo, a landlocked country in Southeast Europe and in the center of the Balkans, first joined Miss Universe in 2008 with Zana Krasniqi. Its highest placement was second runner-up in 2009 courtesy of Marigona Dragusha. The pageant was held at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas with 83 competitors. Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 1 at Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana. The 24-year-old model from Tirana succeeds Deta Kokomani and will now prepare to represent Albania at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant in El Salvador later this year. "I want to dedicate this beautiful journey to my grandmother and grandfather, my two angels. I am convinced that if they were in the hall last night, the loudest ovations would come from them," she shared on social media after winning her national title. Zimbabwe will return to Miss Universe pageant after 22 years

After a 22-year absence, Zimbabwe, a landlocked country in southern Africa, is expected to return to the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Previously held by the first ever Miss Universe Zimbabwe, Yvette D'Almeida Chakras, the Miss Universe license is now in the hands of Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. Joining her as chief of operations and managing director is Zimbabwean television personality and communications consultant, Rumbidzai Takawira. Zimbabwe last joined Miss Universe in the year 2001 with Tsungai Muswerakuenda. Its highest placement was achieved in 2000 when Corinne Crewe finished in the Top 10 from a field of 79 competitors in Nicosia, Cyprus. The new Mister and Miss Supranational Cuba titleholders were officially announced last Sunday, May 28 at Cuz Miami in Doral, Florida. Former Miss Intercontinental USA and Miss Intercontinental 2019 first runner-up, Monica Aguilar, was appointed as Miss Supranational Cuba 2023. The 24-year-old biology student from Camagüey succeeds Liz Rodriguez and will represent Cuba at Miss Supranational 2023 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland on July 14. Richard Acosta, a 27-year-old banker and personal trainer from Havana was named Mister Supranational Cuba 2023 and will compete in Mister Supranational 2023 at the same venue in Małopolska on July 15. Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 is Caitlyn Dulcie from Auckland

Caitlyn Dulcie was crowned Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 on Saturday, May 27 at Te Pou Theatre in Henderson, Auckland. The 23-year-old model, dancer, and musician also bagged the Best In Judge’s Interview and Best in Talent special awards.  Her court of elemental queens consists of Mercedes Budd, Lelaine Dela Cruz, Alyssa Roberts, and Moya van Kooten. They were named Miss Earth Air, Water, Fire, and Land, respectively. Simran Madan, last year's winner who went on to compete in the Philippines last November, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Caitlyn will now prepare to represent her island country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. New Zealand has yet to win the Miss Earth title since joining the pageant for the first time in 2001. Its highest placement was achieved in 2019 when Tashan Kapene made it to the Top 10 among 85 competitors. Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel touched down in Guatemala City this week with her queen sisters Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano and Miss Teen USA 2022 Faron Medhi. The trio went to the Central American country for Smile Train, the world's largest cleft charity providing safe, high-quality cleft palate surgical care in over 70 countries. "Had the sweetest time dying shirts and spending time with children that have undergone cleft surgeries with @smiletrain," R'Bonney shared on social media. The beauty queen also reunited with her fellow competitor at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans, Miss Universe Guatemala 2022 Ivana Batchelor. Talking about their experience in the country, reigning Miss Teen USA shared, "I had such a beautiful first day in Guatemala with @smiletrain." Candace Kanavel was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2023 on Monday, May 29 at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert, Arizona. The 27-year-old Arizona State University alumna and police officer from Tempe will now represent her home state at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. She succeeds last year's winner Isabel Ticlo after trying to win the title for several years.
