Miss Universe Albania 2023 is Endi Demneri from Tirana


Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 1 at Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana.

The 24-year-old model from Tirana succeeds Deta Kokomani and will now prepare to represent Albania at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant in El Salvador later this year.

"I want to dedicate this beautiful journey to my grandmother and grandfather, my two angels. I am convinced that if they were in the hall last night, the loudest ovations would come from them," she shared on social media after winning her national title.

"I strongly believe that beauty isn't just about having a beautiful image, but having a beautiful mind, a beautiful heart, and a beautiful soul," she added.

Hosted by Teni Vllaçaj and Eriona Sejdiu, the star-studded glittering event aired exclusively on Vizion Plus, an Albanian media company.

Albania has yet to win Miss Universe since its debut in the international competition in 2002 with Anisa Kospiri. The Balkan country's last placement was in 2019 when Cindy Marina finished in the Top 20.

Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. Aideen Howard beat over 20 other contestants to win Miss Universe Ireland 2026 on Saturday, June 20 at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin. The 22-year-old model and student from Castletroy, Limerick, was crowned by her predecessor Aadya Srivastava from Galway.
