Miss Earth USA 2021 is Marisa Butler of Maine


Miss Maine, Marisa Paige Butler, was crowned Miss Earth USA 2021 in a competition held on Sunday, January 17 at the Orange County Convention Center’s Linda Chapin Theater in Orlando, Florida.

The 27-year-old financial advisor earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business from Stonehill College. She was Miss Maine USA 2016 before winning the title of Miss World America 2018 and went on to compete in the Miss World 2018 pageant in Sanya, China.

Alyssa Klinzing (California), Alyssa Magalong (Colorado), Kennedy Thomas  (Alabama), and C’yana Denby (East Coast) were awarded the elemental court titles of Miss Earth USA Air, Water, Fire, and Eco, respectively.

Elite Miss Earth USA 2021 Nalicia Ramdyal of New York, Teen Miss Earth USA 2021 Katia Gerry of California, and Mrs. USA Earth 2021 Meredith Pope of Alabama were also crowned at the national event over the weekend.

Last year’s winners from the virtual pageant that was held amid the pandemic restrictions, Miss Earth USA Air Shannon Lynch, Miss Earth USA Water Autumn Adams, Miss Earth USA Fire LeighAnna Kingvalsky, Miss Earth USA Eco Alexandra Curtis, Junior Miss Earth USA Whitney Egbe, and Little Miss Earth USA Gisele Parnell were also honored with a special crowning ceremony.

The new Miss Earth USA who hails from Standish said she has always been involved with environmental organizations since she was a little girl. Her platform called “The Collective Earth” centers on teaching people to view plants and animals as part of the community.

Marisa will now prepare to compete for a possible back-to-back win at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant later this year.

“Words can not describe how honored I am to be your new Miss Earth USA 2021. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped make this dream a reality. I can’t wait to share this journey with you all, but for now, your queen needs her beauty sleep,” she wrote on social media shortly after winning her title.

The USA won its first-ever Miss Earth courtesy of Lindsey Coffey who competed in the historic virtual staging of the international pageant’s 20th edition last November.

Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Gia Soleil Espinoza of Texas was crowned Miss Earth USA 2026 in a national competition held on Saturday, January 3 at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The 20-year-old criminal justice major and third-generation business owner from El Paso succeeds last year's winner Haley Poe. She will represent the USA at Miss Earth 2026 later this year. April Rodriguez of Lone Star State was named Miss Earth USA Air, while Angel Marie Strong of West Coast, Alanna Lynch of West Virginia, and Autumn Fisher of Kentucky were announced Miss Earth USA Water, Fire, and Eco, respectively. Domitila Barros bested nine other finalists to win Miss Germany 2022 competition at Europa-Park Arena in Rust, Baden on Saturday, February 19. The 37-year-old Berlin resident holds a master's degree in politics and social sciences. She is an entrepreneur, green influencer, activist, and actress who hails from northern Brazil. Miss Germany no longer considers itself as a beauty pageant. Reigning Miss International Sireethorn 'Bint' Leearamwat visits Guatemala

For the first time, Miss International 2019 Sireethorn 'Bint' Leearamwat, has arrived in the Americas. Miss Guatemala Organization invited the Thai beauty as a special guest during the coronation event of Miss Guatemala 2022, whose winner will represent her country at Miss International 2022 later this year. Miss Universe Laos 2022 is Payengxa Lor

Payengxa Lor was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, October 8 at the Grand Ballroom of Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel in Vientiane. The 21-year-old business management student at the Lao-American College bested 19 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds Tonkham Phonchanheuang and will now prepare to represent Laos at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, the USA this January.
