Miss Earth Burkina Faso 2021 is Thalia Zinsonni

Thalia Zinsonni, 21, was crowned Miss Earth Burkina Faso 2021 during the inaugural edition of the national pageant held last March 12 at a banquet hall in Ouagadougou.

The bank and insurance licensing student bested 12 other contestants to win the title. She succeeded the first-ever Miss Earth Burkina Faso who represented the west African country at the historic Miss Earth 2020 virtual competition, Amira Naïmah Bassané.

Marketing and business management student, Fabiola Dambre, and law student, Kontogom Emelie Dorcas, were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Thalia will now prepare to represent Burkina Faso at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant later this year.

"Dynamic, joyful, and ambitious, my professional project will be to defend nature by organizing awareness campaigns on the environment, teaching children to recycle their daily life, and organizing health days," she said.
