Miss International Uzbekistan 2021 is Nigina Fakhriddinova

Uzbekistan will debut at Miss International in November with the newly appointed Miss International Uzbekistan 2021, Nigina Fakhriddinova.

The 21-year-old beauty was previously named Miss Intercontinental Uzbekistan 2019 and joined Miss Intercontinental 2019 in Egypt. She will now prepare to represent her central Asian country at the 60th Miss International pageant in Japan later this year.

"I have a dream – to contribute to the life of my people and to the development of the cultural sphere of my country," Nigina shared on social media.

"This is the main reason for participating and the opportunity to represent my country on the Miss International stage, which is very important for me, as this will allow me to achieve new goals, get one step closer to my dream, and proudly declare my Uzbekistan to representatives of dozens of countries of the world," she added.

Cuba's Juan Carlos Ariosa wins 8th Mister Global competition

Mister Global Cuba Juan Carlos Ariosa beat 38 other competitors to win Mister Global 2022 held on Saturday, February 11 at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 28-year-old actor, model, and dental surgeon originally from Matanzas, Cuba succeeded Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam for the coveted international title. He also bagged the Mister Photogenic award. Oscar Guerrero of Colombia and William Gama of Brazil were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kim Hee Won of Korea and Setthapan Thongsuk of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Jennifer Barreto of San Sebastián triumphed over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 on Thursday, June 25 in Caguas. The 27-year-old psychologist will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in the Caribbean island this November. Génesis Dávila of Arroyo was named first runner-up while Vivianie Díaz-Arroyo of Aguas Buenas, Nicole Marie Colón of Aibonito, and Chelsey García of Añasco were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. The 27-year-old medical technology graduate edged out over 30 other contestants to win the national pageant. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2026 later this year.
