Indonesia's Ayu Maulida is off to US for the 69th Miss Universe pageant

Puteri Indonesia 2020 (Miss Universe Indonesia) Ayu Maulida has left for the USA on Tuesday, April 27 to compete in the upcoming 69th Miss Universe pageant in Hollywood, Florida.

Ayu was wearing a classy form-fitting short sleeve pencil dress by Victoria Beckham during her send-off at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta.

The 23-year-old was supported by her national organization, pageant-lover fans, and especially her sister queens Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020 (Miss International Indonesia) Ayu Saraswati and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2020 (Miss Supranational Indonesia) Jihane Almira at the airport.

Indonesian fans have high hopes that the statuesque Ayu will surpass her predecessor Frederika Alexis Cull's Top 10 finish at Miss Universe 2019, the highest placement that Indonesia has ever achieved in the competition.

Mike van Wijk to represent the Netherlands at 7th Mister Global in Thailand

Mike van Wijk has been named the new Mister Global Netherlands and will represent his country at the 7th Mister Global pageant in Thailand next month. The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Sint-Michielsgestel currently works in construction and plans to open his own personal trainer studio in the future. He was a runner-up in Misters of the Netherlands 2021 and was originally supposed to join 21th edition of Manhunt International. Mister Global pageant will be hosting its 7th edition on March 15 in Mahasarakham, Thailand. More than 30 inspiring gentlemen from around the world are expected to compete for the coveted international title. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Femina Miss India World 2026: Sadhvi Sail from Goa wins the crown

Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra and Sree Advaita of Union Territory were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico.
