Russia's Alina Sanko stuns with green hair before her departure for the 69th Miss Universe

Miss Universe Russia 2020 Alina Sanko sported green hair before her departure for the 69th Miss Universe competition to be held in the USA.

"How wonderful that a dream has an amazing property to come true. I am ready for an unforgettable and fabulous journey," she shared on her official social media page.

The 22-year-old matched her look with a short green dress while posing with her luggage. She asked her almost 300,000 followers, "Friends, how do you like my image?"

Alina will vie for the coveted title of Miss Universe with over 70 other beauties from around the world at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on May 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 28-year-old police officer succeeds last year's winner Victoria Velasquez Vincent and will represent New Zealand at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
