Miss Nederland 2021: Julia Sinning to represent the Netherlands at 70th Miss Universe pageant


Julia Sinning was crowned Miss Nederland 2021 in a glittering national competition held at Studio 21 in Hilversum on Sunday, August 29.

The 24-year-old student from Amsterdam is training at a drama school (faaam Film Actors Academy) and currently part of "The Bachelor." Besides winning her national title, she also took home the Miss Congeniality award.

Julia succeeds last year's winner, Denise Speelman, and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel later this year.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 is Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau bested 40 other contestants to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 on Saturday, June 25 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Le Thao Nhi and Huynh Pham Thuy Tien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Le Hoang Phuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly completed the Top 5 finalists. Reining Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu together with former queens Catriona Gray and Natalie Glebova graced the competition as international judges. Andreína Martinez, representative of the Dominican community of the US, was crowned Miss República Dominicana Universo 2021 (Miss Dominican Republic Universe) on Sunday, November 7 at the Salón de Eventos Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old beauty bested 14 other finalists to win the national competition. She succeeds Miss República Dominicana Universo 2020 and Miss Universe Top 5 finalist, Kimberly Jiménez. Cebu City's Fuschia Anne Ravena bested 25 other contestants to be crowned Miss International Queen Philippines 2022 in a national competition held on Sunday, March 6 at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The 26-year-old Cebuana beauty who hails from Bogo City will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss International Queen 2022 in Pattaya, Thailand. Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz of Manila and Shane Lee Ahn of Inayawan, Cebu City, were the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's event was the inaugural edition of Miss International Queen Philippines. It is a subsidiary of the Thailand-based international pageant, the largest beauty contest for transgender women.
