Miss World Netherlands 2023 is Jane Shauny Knoester

Jane Shauny Knoester was crowned Miss World Nederland 2023 (Miss World Netherlands 2023) on Tuesday, October 24 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam. The 18-year-old figure skater from The Hague bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Amber Koelewijn. Buket Bengisu Ünal, 20, from Rotterdam, and Cheyenne den Dikkenboer, 25, from Schiedam, were announced as first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss International Netherlands 2023 is Morgan Doelwijt

Morgan Doelwijt was crowned Miss International Netherlands 2023 during the Miss Beauty All Stars 2023 grand coronation on Saturday, September 2 at Stadstheater Zoetermeer. The 25-year-old beauty representing Utrecht bested 11 other competitors to win the national competition which was held for former Miss Beauty of the Netherlands winners. Kimberley Ijsbrandij of Flevoland and Christina Lazaros of Groningen were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss International Netherlands is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously held the titles Miss Beauty of Utrecht and Miss Asia Pacific Netherlands. She then went on to participate in the Miss Asia Pacific International 2017 world final in the Philippines and finished as third runner-up. Morgan will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at Miss International 2023 on October 26 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Rikkie Valerie Kollé was crowned Miss Nederland 2023 (Miss Universe Netherlands 2023) on Saturday, July 8 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden. The 22-year-old Dutch-Moluccan model and actress living in Breda succeeds Ona Moody and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador. Nathalie Mogbelzada, 26, from Amsterdam, was named first runner-up while Habiba Mostafa and Lou Dirchs were awarded Miss Congeniality and Miss Social Media, respectively. Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA graced the glittering event as a special guest. The new Miss Universe Netherlands made history as she became the first-ever transgender woman to win the national title. Noa Claus was crowned Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2023 (Miss Earth Netherlands 2023) in a glittering show held on Saturday, July 1 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 20-year-old restaurant employee from Enschede, Overijssel bested 11 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. Sasha Verhoef of Zuid-Holland was named first runner-up while Yentl Felter of Utrecht, Caitlin de Jong of Friesland, and Sara Balic of Limburg were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The title Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2023 went to 18-year-old Mevy Lumamuly, also from Overijssel. She is now expected to compete in Miss Teen International 2024. Solange Dekker of the Netherlands was crowned Miss International Queen 2023 on Saturday, June 24 at the Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand. The 27-year-old beauty from Amsterdam bested over 20 other competitors to win the coveted international title — a historic first for her country. She succeeds last year's winner from the Philippines, Fuchsia Anne Ravena. Qatrisha Zairyah Kamsir of Singapore and Melony Munro of the USA were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Melissa Bottema, representing Groningen, was crowned Miss Grand Netherlands 2023 in a competition held on Sunday, June 4 at Claus Event Center in Hoofddorp. The 23-year-old gymnastics coach and a social work student at Hanze University edged out 10 other beauties to win the national title. Rounding out the Top 3 finalists were Amber Tamara of Flevoland and Merel Bakker of Gelderland. They were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Esmee van der Meulen, Bo Grooten, Robin Danique Mulder, Chimène-Esmee Colijn, Tene Donzo, Merel van Roon, Carmen Kara, and Yarah Mookhram were the rest of the contestants. Miss Nederland 2023 (Miss Universe Netherlands 2023) final competition will be held on Saturday, July 8 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden, Netherlands. Nine official finalists will compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the Netherlands at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year. They are Rikkie Valerie Kollé, Habiba Mostafa, Ruby-Ann Chwatchko, Nazeli Kouki, Chanille Hupsel, Beate van der Weide, Nathalie Mogbelzada, Christina Cairo, and Lou Dirchs. Hosted by former titleholders Denise Speelman and Zoey Ivory, the event will also feature musical performances from several artists such as SERA, Paul Morris, and Patricia van Haastrecht. Luna-Isabella Stienstra edged out three other finalists to be crowned Miss Supranational Netherlands 2023 on Sunday, April 9 at Addict in Haarlem, Amsterdam. The 20-year-old beauty from Limburg is a dancer, certified makeup artist, and aspiring dentist assistant. She is no stranger to pageantry, having joined Miss Intercontinental Netherlands 2021 where she represented Limburg and placed fourth runner-up. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists were Monica Fernandes de Freitas, Uloma Onyema, and Aasiyah van Geenen. Luna-Isabella will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland this July. She succeeded last year's titleholder Serena Darder. Netherlands' Ona Moody to wear stroopwafel-inspired costume for 71st Miss Universe

Miss Nederland 2022 (Miss Universe Netherlands) Ona Moody will be wearing a stroopwafel-inspired national costume for the 71st Miss Universe pageant. Stroopwafel is a delicious Dutch waffle cookie that is known all over the world for its great taste and is popular as a souvenir or gift from Holland. The stroopwafel's wafer layers are made from a stiff dough of flour, butter, and caramel filling made from syrup, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Designed by Pearl Dronkers of Miss Pearl Couture, the costume features a bodysuit with hand-embroidered ornament inspired by the Delft Blue can (box) that contains the stroopwafels. The headpiece displays stroopwafels served with and placed on a hot drink such as coffee or tea to warm the cookie and soften the syrup. Ona will be showcasing the national costume at the 71st Miss Universe this January at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Amber Koelewijn was crowned Miss World Nederland 2022 (Miss World Netherlands) in a glittering event that took place on Wednesday, September 28 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam. The 17-year-old all-around beautician from Bunschoten-Spakenburg bested 11 other finalists to win the national competition. Nova Cheyen, 17, from Rotterdam, and Robey Bruins, 21, from Haaksbergen, were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Amber, who advocates against cyberbullying, was also the Talent and Top Model winner. She succeeds Lizzy Dobbe and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 71st Miss World pageant.
