Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey visits Guatemala

Miss Guatemala Organization has welcomed the reigning Miss Earth Lindsey Coffey of the United States in Guatemala City this week.

Lindsey has arrived in the Central American country to be the special guest of honor in the coronation of the new Miss Earth Guatemala.

Miss Earth Guatemala 2021, who will succeed last year's titleholder Gabriela Castillo, will represent the land of eternal spring and the cradle of the Mayan empire at the next Miss Earth pageant whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

This is Lindsey's second official visit abroad since winning the virtual Miss Earth 2020 pageant in November last year. She was in Brussels, Belgium last June together with the reigning Miss Earth-Fire Michala Rubinstein of Denmark.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 is Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau bested 40 other contestants to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 on Saturday, June 25 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Le Thao Nhi and Huynh Pham Thuy Tien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Le Hoang Phuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly completed the Top 5 finalists. Reining Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu together with former queens Catriona Gray and Natalie Glebova graced the competition as international judges. Toa Baja representative Elena Rivera was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2022 (Miss World Puerto Rico 2022) during the national competition held on Thursday, June 30 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. Amanda Pérez Solis of Río Grande and Andrea Carolina Rivera of Lares were the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of 30 contestants competed for the coveted national title and the right to represent Puerto Rico at the 71st Miss World pageant. Parañaque City representative Myron Jude Ordillano was named Mister International Philippines 2022 at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila on Monday, June 27. The 23-year-old model and aspiring actor edged out over 30 other contestants to win his title. He succeeds the 2019 winner Levin Carl Arguelles.
