Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 is Elena Danova


Elena Danova has been officially named Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 on October 28 following an online casting among 48 applicants from all over the country.

The 21-year-old public relations student at Sofia University hails from Krichim. She is also a model, actress, and singer who speaks English and German fluently.

"I can not describe the joy I feel. I am honored to carry this title and to represent Bulgaria at the most prestigious competition," she shared on her social media account.

Elena succeeds Radinela Chusheva and she will now prepare to compete in the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel this December.

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Following the arrival of the 29 contestants vying for Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, an official presentation took place on Monday, March 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Standouts were the representatives of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the USA. Prior to the red carpet presentation, the contestants earlier received their official sashes with the names of the countries or territories they represent. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia. The winning national costume was designed and created by the talented Guatemalan artist and costume designer César Alejandro Portillo.
