Miss República Dominicana Universo 2021 is Andreína Martinez


Andreína Martinez, representative of the Dominican community of the US, was crowned Miss República Dominicana Universo 2021 (Miss Dominican Republic Universe) on Sunday, November 7 at the Salón de Eventos Sambil in Santo Domingo.

The 24-year-old beauty bested 14 other finalists to win the national competition. She succeeds Miss República Dominicana Universo 2020 and Miss Universe Top 5 finalist, Kimberly Jiménez.

Miss Azua, Debbie Áflalo settled with a first runner-up finish while Miss Lavega, Yamilex Hernández was named the second runner-up. Miss Samaná, Elianny Capellán, and Miss La Romana, Érika Silverio, were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Dominican Republic holds a degree in psychology and Latin American studies. She is currently the operations coordinator of the Women's Equality Center in New York.

"There is a saying that says 'it takes a village to raise a child' well to make a queen it takes two. I want to thank all those who are part of my village. Your unconditional support has made this adventure unique and unforgettable," she shared on her social media account after winning her title.

Andreína will now prepare to represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant in Eilat, Israel this December.

The Dominican Republic has won the Miss Universe title once with Amelia Vega in 2003.

Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Miss Universe Chile 2025 is Inna Moll from Vitacura

Inna Moll, representing Vitacura, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2025 in a national competitipn held on Friday, August 1 in Santiago. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Martina Kriskovich of Huechuraba was named first runner-up while María Jesús Honorato of Las Condes, Scarlett Hermosilla of Lo Barnechea, and Paula Jiménez of Providencia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November.
