Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2022 Andreína Martínez Founier had the chance to meet with her country's President Luis Abinader and the First Lady after placing third at Miss Universe 2022. Their meeting happened at the national leader's official residence, the Palacio Nacional in Santo Domingo, following Andreína's homecoming from the recently concluded 71st Miss Universe competition in New Orleans. The 25-year-old was able to achieve a well-deserved Top 3 placement during the Miss Universe final show on January 14. Manuel "Manu" Franco of the Dominican Republic was proclaimed the 14th Mister International on Sunday, October 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines. Anabel Payano Pichardo of the Dominican Republic was crowned The Miss Globe 2022 in a glittering show held on Saturday, October 15 at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Skanderberg Square, Tirana, Albania. The 19-year-old professional model beat 49 other contestants to win the coveted title. She succeeds last year's winner from the Philippines, Maureen Montagne. Ruddy Batista from Distrito Nacional has been elected as Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2022 on Friday, January 14 at the Patrick N. Hughson Auditorium in Santo Domingo. The 28-year-old succeeds Ivan Oleaga and will now prepare to represent his  Caribbean country at the Mister Supranational 2022 competition probably later this year in Poland.
