70th Miss Universe: Contestants go on a desert adventure in Eilat

The 70th Miss Universe contestants went on an adventure and enjoyed an ATV tour on a sunny desert during their first day in Eilat, Israel!

Around 80 of the most beautiful women of the universe are touring the sights of the host country, filming, rehearsing, and preparing to compete for the coveted Miss Universe crown.

The highly anticipated final competition will air LIVE from the beautiful Red Sea resort town of Eilat, on Sunday, December 12 at 7 p.m. ET on FOX and Telemundo.

Miss Universe Finland 2025 is Sarah Anjelica Dzafce

Sarah Anjelica Dzafce bested nine other contestants to win Miss Suomi 2025 (Miss Universe Finland 2025) on Saturday, September 6 at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo. The 22-yer-old fashion model and former competitive gymnast from Kuopio will represent Finland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Iceland's Helena O'Connor withdraws from Miss Universe 2025

The Miss Iceland Organization has announced today that Miss Universe Iceland 2025 Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor has withdrawn from the 74th Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement released on social media, the organization said that the 21-year-old psychology student from Viðey has been ill for the past few days. The statement also stated: "She is thankfully recovering but we are devastated to announce that, due to personal reasons, she has made the difficult decision of withdrawing from the Miss Universe competition in Thailand." Helena was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland 2025) in Reykjavik last April. Miss Turkey 2024: Meet the Top 20 finalists

A total of 20 finalists have been selected to compete for Miss Turkey 2024 following an elimination round held on Wednesday, September 4 in Istanbul. The grand final will take place on September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel and the winners are expected to represent Turkey at the next Miss World and Miss Supranational pageants. No competition was held last year and this year's upcoming final will be the 42nd edition of the annual national pageant. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer González Colón also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006). The 25-year-old singer-songwriter and model was crowned by her predecessor Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia. She became the first Venezuelan woman to hold the international beauty title. Matilda Wirtavuori was crowned Miss Suomi 2024 (Miss Universe Finland 2024) in a glittering national competition held on Saturday, September 14 at Aino Areena in Järvenpää. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul.
