Miss Universe 2022 rumored to be hosted in France


Miss Universe 2022 will be held in Paris, France according to a now-deleted social media post of Israeli fashion photographer Itai Kadosh.

This will of course remain a rumor until the Miss Universe Organization releases an official confirmation announcing the host country of the next Miss Universe edition.

If so happened that the rumor is true, it will be the first time for France to host the competition and the second time for Europe since Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus.

The 71st Miss Universe pageant will probably take place before the annual Miss France competition in December.

Miss Wales 2022 is Darcey Corria, first woman of color to win the pageant

Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Wales volunteers for Race Equality First and helps women from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds in the community through health and fitness. Chinese-Canadian Amelia Tu triumphed over 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Canada 2022 in a national competition held on Thursday, May 14 at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto. The 20-year-old biology and business student at Universe of California, Berkeley hails from Vancouver, BC. She succeeds Tamara Jemuovic and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant later this year. Madison Kvaltin was named first runner-up while Yuliya Shcherban finished second runner-up. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. "I’m so proud to wear Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 sash on my shoulder. Thank you for all your love and support," she shared on her official social media account.
