Miss Elegance France 2023 is Charlotte Brique

Miss Elegance Franche-Comté Charlotte Brique was crowned Miss Elegance France 2023 (Miss Earth France) in a glittering national final held on Saturday, January 28 in Albi, Tarn. The 24-year-old communications graduate from Belfort bested 21 other competitors to win her national title. She is expected to represent France at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. Miss Elegance Gascogne (Inès Sanchez-Isser), Nord-Pas-de-Calais (Alyssa Verhenne), Alsace (Chrislène Largen), and Midi-Pyrénées (Eva Mariotto) were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner who competed in Miss Earth 2022 last November in the Philippines, Alison Carrasco, relinquished her reign and pass the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Mister Universel France 2023 is Quentin Bourg-Austruy of Île-de-France

Quentin Bourg-Austruy, representing Île-de-France, was proclaimed Mister Universel France 2023 (Mister Supranational France 2023) on Saturday, January 21 at the Centre de Rencontres Innovance in Villieu-Loyes-Mollon. The 24-year-old restaurant entrepreneur hailing from Issy-les-Moulineaux bested 15 other competitors to win the national title. He succeeded last year's winner Pierre Bondon who went on to compete and place in the Top 10 at Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland. Raimana Gerst of Tahiti, Romain Dordé of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Florian Mussard of Réunion, and Kevin Neumann of Nord-Pas-de-Calais were announced as the first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss France 2023 is Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe

Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe was crowned Miss France 2023 on Saturday, December 17 at M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. The 18-year-old beauty from Basse-Terre beat 29 other contestants representing various French regions and departments to become the fourth woman from Guadeloupe to win the national title. She received the new crown from her predecessor Diane Leyre of Île-de-France. Agathe Cauet of  Nord-Pas-de-Calais was named first runner-up while Marion Navarro of Franche-Comté, Axelle René of Martinique, and Alissia Ladevèze of Auvergne were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Prior to winning Miss France, the new queen won the title of Miss Basse-Terre and Miss Guadeloupe 2022. During the national competition, she received the maximum score from both the jury and the French public. Miss France 2023 will broadcast on December 17 live on TF1 from M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. It will be the host city's second time holding the national pageant after the 2018 edition. A total of 30 contestants representing various regions and departments of France will be vying for the prestigious national title currently held by Diane Leyre of Île-de-France. Clémence Botino to represent France at 71st Miss World

Miss France 2020 Clémence Botino has been officially announced on Tuesday, October 11 to represent France at the 71st Miss World pageant. Hailing from Guadeloupe, the 25-year-old island beauty was crowned Miss Guadeloupe 2019 prior to winning the prestigious Miss France pageant. She was sent to Miss Universe 2021 in Israel last December and managed to place in the Top 10 among 80 contestants. Clemence is a hard-working student who believes that school and education are keys to success. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in art history at Sorbonne University in Paris. As a rum ambassador, she considers French rum as a luxury product that deserves international recognition and she thinks the youth must be encouraged to learn more about the local economy. She also wants to show that there is nothing women cannot do even in a male-dominated industry. Floriane Bascou to represent France at 71st Miss Universe

Miss France 2022 first runner-up Floriane Bascou has been officially announced on Tuesday, October 11 to represent France at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement, the reigning Miss France Diane Leyre revealed the reason she will not be able to participate in Miss Universe is "due to lack of time and preparation" after crowning her successor at Miss France 2023 in December. The newly appointed Miss Universe France is 20 years old and hails from Le Lamentin, a city in the French overseas department and region of Martinique. She is a graduate of a scientific baccalaureate specializing in life and earth sciences. Floriane is currently pursuing studies in preparatory health with a law option and aims of becoming an orthodontist in the future. She has always been interested in the medical field from an early age. The representatives of Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands for the 60th Miss International pageant have been selected in a special event that took place last weekend at Beej Bertje in Maastricht. Loren Venx was named Miss International Belgium 2022 while Jasmin Selberg and Marisol Soliana were awarded the titles Miss International Germany and Netherlands, respectively. Joining them was Miss International 2020/2021 France Maya Albert, who won her own title last year in the northern french city of Roubaix. The "Miss International Festival" event was organized by pageant director Katia Maes, a Belgian native who is now based in the Netherlands. Loren, Jasmin, Marisol, and Maya are now preparing to represent their respective countries at Miss International 2022 in Tokyo, Japan this December. "It is a dream come true for me. Wedding bells are on the way for former Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere as she announced her engagement to entrepreneur Diego El Glaoui. The French beauty took to social media on Saturday, August 27 to share the happy news, which has received a lot of congratulatory messages. Miss Universe 2022 will be held in Paris, France according to a now-deleted social media post of Israeli fashion photographer Itai Kadosh. This will of course remain a rumor until the Miss Universe Organization releases an official confirmation announcing the host country of the next Miss Universe edition. If so happened that the rumor is true, it will be the first time for France to host the competition and the second time for Europe since Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus. Diane Leyre, representing the northern Ile-de-France region, was crowned Miss France 2022 in a glittering national final held on Saturday, December 11 at the Zenith in Caen. The 24-year-old international trade graduate bested 28 other beauties to win the beauty title. She succeeds Amandine Petit of Normandy and became the 16th woman from her region to win Miss France. Floriane Bascou of Martinique and Cécile Wolfrom of Alsace were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Tumateata Buisson of Tahiti and Youssra Askry of Normandy completed the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe France Clémence Botino tests positive for COVID-19 in Israel

Miss Universe France Clémence Botino will be isolated for 10 days after testing positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Israel. The 24-year-old beauty who hails from Guadeloupe came to Israel to participate in the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held on December 12. Unfortunately, her test results came back positive for the viral infection.  In a statement shared on her social media account, she said: "I was shocked and sad, it is truly hard. I'm a really positive person and I work really hard, and the past two years have been tough." "Even if it is hard I won't give up. Life has brought me to Israel and everything is ready. Every situation is supposed to make us stronger," she added. Clémence also encouraged her followers to be safe "because the virus is still here." There is no confirmation yet if she will be able to continue with participation in the upcoming Miss Universe final competition should her test comes back negative after isolating. P

Normandy's Candice Guivarch was crowned Miss Elegance France 2021 in a competition held last June 26 at Splendid Hotel in Dax, Landes. The 21-year-old model and business school student from Etalondes, Seine-Maritime, bested 19 other contestants to win the national title. Amélie Gigan was named first runner-up while Eléa-Loup Gautier, Marie Victoire Schwerdel and Solène Girard were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 25-year-old master's student in international marketing from Le Havre bested 23 other contestants to win his national title. He succeeds Mister France 2020 Thomas Cornelus.
