India's Deep Supriyam crowned Miss Elite 2022 in Egypt


India's Deep Supriyam was crowned Miss Elite 2022 in an international pageant held last Friday, June 10 at Somabay, a modern town resort on the Red Sea in Egypt.

The 28-year-old textile and costume designer from Mumbai succeeds last year's titleholder from Mexico, Fernanda Pumar. She bested over 30 other contestants to win the competition.

"My parents always offered me the freedom to be whoever I wanted to be, and maybe that’s the reason I’ve achieved few precious things in life and yet to achieve more," she shared on social media.

"I know that there are many women out there with a seed of dream they think one can live, to all those girls, go live it, enjoy each moment of reaching to it, because once you’re there it’s beautiful but the most memorable is the journey to it, it’s thrilling, challenging your patience, capability, belief and so much more when no one else sees it," she added.

Shanon Tampon of the Philippines was named the first runner-up while Valeria Sizova of Australia became the second runner-up.

The representatives of Venezuela, Yanuaria Verde, and Argentina, Caterina Bernal were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Mike van Wijk to represent the Netherlands at 7th Mister Global in Thailand

Mike van Wijk has been named the new Mister Global Netherlands and will represent his country at the 7th Mister Global pageant in Thailand next month. The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Sint-Michielsgestel currently works in construction and plans to open his own personal trainer studio in the future. He was a runner-up in Misters of the Netherlands 2021 and was originally supposed to join 21th edition of Manhunt International. Mister Global pageant will be hosting its 7th edition on March 15 in Mahasarakham, Thailand. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Miss Universe Peru 2026 is Luren Márquez

Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Former Miss Earth USA Bea Millan-Windorski joins Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. At just 24 years old, she is well-acquainted with the world of pageantry, having participated in Miss Earth USA 2024 in Orlando, Florida, where she clinched the title while representing Wisconsin. This achievement made her the first Filipino-American to secure a national title.
