Viktoria Apanasenko to represent Ukraine at Miss Universe 2022


Due to the difficult situation in their country, the Miss Ukraine Universe Committee has decided to appoint Miss Ukraine Universe 2021 first runner-up Viktoria Apanasenko as Miss Ukraine Universe 2022.

The 28-year-old professional model and volunteer from Chernihiv, who holds a degree in social work, succeeds last year's titleholder Anna Neplyah. She is expected to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant, possibly later this year.

Victoria took to social media to share her "shock was hard to put into words" when she received the news while volunteering.

"It was a dream of my childhood. Probably the first time in all this time, I cried with happiness," she said.

"During all the time of my volunteer work, looking into the eyes of our people, I saw incredible strength. And that motivates me to go fight for Miss Universe," she added.

Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Esc茅nicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 25-year-old fashion model and pet food bakery owner also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. She succeeds Rosemary Ling and will now prepare to represent Hong Kong at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 21-year-old artist and painter from Willemstad became the second woman from Curacao to hold the title next to Evalina Van Putten (2011). Marta Isabel Otero of Colombia placed second (Virreina Hispanoamericana 2026) while Criselys Garcia of the Dominican Republic and Melissa Payr贸 of Mexico were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.
