Miss Universe Colombia 2022 María Fernanda Aristizábal officially crowned


Miss Universe Colombia 2022 María Fernanda Aristizábal has been officially crowned by last year's titleholder and Miss Universe Top 5 finalist Valeria Ayos.

The glittering coronation event was held on Saturday, July 23 at Catedral de Sal (Salt Cathedral) in the central Colombian city of Zipaquirá, in Cundinamarca.

María Fernanda was appointed as Miss Universe Colombia last April and the announcement took place at a press conference held at Hotel Dann Carlton Medellin.

The 25-year-old beauty from Quindío is now more than ever prepared to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) pageant, three years after winning Señorita Colombia and unfortunately lost her chance to compete in Miss Universe 2020.

"You always have to fight to achieve dreams, you never have to give up, you always have to inspire people to achieve what they have always wanted so much and I think that has been me, an example, because I have wanted to materialize that dream and here I am here, with this crown of Miss Universe Colombia and at any time, at God's time, I will go to represent my country in the best way. When at some point I thought I was not going to make it, here I am."

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. Justýna Zedníková has been officially crowned Miss Supranational Czech Republic 2024 in a special crowning ceremony held on Saturday, April 20 at Duplex in Prague. The 21-year-old fashion model will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at Miss Supranational 2024 on July 6 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Sakhile Dube joins Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024

Fashion model Sakhile Dube has been officially revealed as one of the contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024. The 27-year-old fashionista, representing Bulawayo, is currently pursuing fashion design and styling studies at the Milan School of Fashion in Italy. No stranger to pageantry, Sakhile previously held the title of Miss Earth Zimbabwe and represented her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. She finished in the Top 8 among 85 contestants.
