Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela to judge Miss Universe Bahrain 2022


Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe India, Urvashi Rautela, has been officially announced as one of the judges for the upcoming Miss Universe Bahrain 2022.

Officially the Kingdom of Bahrain,  an island country in Western Asia, debuted at the Miss Universe pageant last year with Manar Nadeem Deyani, the first-ever woman to wear a burkini during the swimsuit competition.

Headed by Dubai-based entrepreneur and multi-awarded Filipino writer Josh Yugen, the second edition of Miss Universe Bahrain will take place on August 26 and the show will be broadcast on September 11.

Urvashi, who was also part of the selection committee for Miss Universe 2021, will be joined at the judges' table by Egyptian actress Mai Omar, celebrity doctor Dr. Nader Saab, and model Natalia Barulich.

"We want to crown a winner with an empowering soul that can summon the universe," the Indian superstar shared her social media with over 50 million followers.

The next Miss Universe Bahrain will be sent to the 71st Miss Universe edition, possibly later this year.

Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. The beautiful contestants vying for Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 were officially revealed on Friday, April 12 online. Ten women have been selected for the opportunity to compete for the national title currently held by last year's winner Melissa Ingraham . Danika Christopherson, representing The Village, was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater in Oklahoma City Community College. Miss Universe Netherlands 2024: Meet the Top 16 finalists

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Elizabeth Laker was crowned Miss RNB EspaƱa 2024 (Miss Supranational Spain 2024) on Saturday, April 13 at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS). The 25-year-old personal trainer and makeup artist from Arona, Tenerife succeeds last year's winner Lola Wilson. Martina SuĆ”rez of Valencia and Ainara MartĆ­nez of La Rioja were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Christianna Katsieri has been officially announced as Miss Universe Greece 2024 by the Star & Mr GS Hellas organization. The 22-year-old model has previously held the title Miss GS Hellas 2022 and became Miss Earth Greece 2023. She went on to represent Greece at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December. Malin Chara-anan, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2024 in a glittering event held on Saturday, April 6 at MGI Hall in Bangkok.
