Miss Mundo Brasil 2022 is Letícia Frota of Amazonas


Miss Amazonas, Letícia Frota, edged out 35 other contestants to win Miss Mundo Brasil 2022 (Miss World Brazil) on Thursday, August 4 in Águas Claras, Brasília (Distrito Federal).

The 20-year-old student will now prepare to represent Brazil at the 71st Miss World pageant whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

Gabrielle Flávia Araújo of Espírito Santo was named first princess and Ana Carolina Manginelli of São Paulo finished as a second princess.

The representatives of Recôncavo Baiano, Isabella Gregorutti, and Rio Grande do Norte, Thuany Cristine de Medeiros, were the third and fourth princesses, respectively.

Last year's winner Caroline Teixeira crowned her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Universe Norway 2024 is Lilly Sødal from Kristiansand

Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. No stranger to pageantry, Lilly is a former Miss Earth Norway who competed in Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines where she made the Top 20. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Slovensko finalist Simona Leskovská has been officially appointed as Miss Supranational Slovakia 2023. Miss Slovakia organization made the announcement on Monday, April 3 via social media. The 31-year-old beauty is a well-known influencer and sports editor from Bratislava. She took part as one of the 12 finalists of Miss Slovensko 2015 and bagged the special title Miss Pierot for her beautiful hair.
