Miss Universe Australia 2022 final date and venue announced


Miss Universe Australia will hold its first live national final since 2019 on Friday, September 9 at the Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

The exciting news from "the land down under" has been officially announced on social media today.

Tickets for the final show are now on sale at pinktankevents.com.au.

Reigning Miss Universe Australia Daria Varlamova will crown her successor at the end of the event. The next titleholder will compete at Miss Universe 2022, possibly later this year.

Australia boasts two Miss Universe winners in history. They are Miss Universe 1972 Kerry Anne Wells and Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok.
