FAVORITES: Miss Grand International 2022 Top 16 pre-arrival favorites

In just one week, over 70 women from around the world will arrive in Bali, Indonesia for the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant, the 10th anniversary edition.

We carefully observed and scored each contestant before the actual competition and we came up with a Top 16 list of favorites. Please note that one contestant (Miss Grand Vietnam) has not yet been chosen at the time of publication.

LIVE UPDATES: Miss Cosmo 2024 Final Competition Results

Tonight, the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant will take place at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Fifty-six contestants from around the world will be competing for the crown, 100,000 US dollars in cash, and a luxury apartment in Vietnam for one year. Tonight's grand final show will be hosted by former Miss International Kylie Verzosa from the Philippines and Vietnamese award-winning TV personality Bui Duc Bao. Phan Le Hoang An and Vinh Phu are the commentators. Former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu from India and former president of the Miss Universe Organization Paula Shugart will be part of the esteemed panel of judges. Miss Universe 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. A total of 114 national queens have been crowned up to this point and are all set to compete in this year's highly anticipated beauty pageant. Mister Global 2024 is Daumier Corilla from the Philippines

Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Manuel Romo of Spain and Favour Ogbuokiri of Nigeria were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Luiz Mascarenhas of Brazil and Patrick Pho-ngam Forstner of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe Estonia 2024 is Valeria Vasilieva

Valeria Vasilieva was crowned Miss Universe Estonia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Tuesday, October 1 in Tallinn. The 22-year-old entrepreneur, actress, and designer bested 10 other finalists to win the title. She was crowned by former titleholder, Miss Universe Estonia 2012 Natalie Korneitsik. Romina Krizanovskaya was named first runner-up while Sophia Gordejev, Viktoria Igben Fondeh, and Merili Carola Kriisa were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Izabel Stoliar bagged the People's Choice award. Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 is Joanne Rhodes

After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. Aside from the crown, she also bagged the Fan Favorite and Miss Photogenic awards. Yan Kiu and Juliette Louie were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Hong Kong's last participation at Miss Universe was in 2000 with Hong Kongese actress and model Sonija Kwok. Its highest placement was second runner-up in 1954 with Virginia June Lee. Indonesia's Ketut Permata Juliastrid was crowned Miss Cosmo 2024 on Saturday, October 5 at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 20-year-old student from Bali beat over 50 other contestants to win the inaugural edition of the pageant. Apart from the crown, she also bagged the Cosmo Beauty Icon Award. Karnruethai Tassabut from Thailand was named the runner-up while Romina Lozano of Peru, Samantha Elliott of the USA, and Bui Xuan Hanh of Vietnam rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Logina Salah, a 34-year-old mother of one from Alexandria, was crowned Miss Universe Egypt 2024 during the national final recently held in Cairo. She succeeds last year's winner Mohra Tantawy and will now prepare to represent Egypt at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Sarah Wanas was named Miss Universe Egypt 2024 - Tourism and People's Choice award winner while Mirielle Azer clinched the title Miss Universe Egypt 2024 - Peace Ambassador. Ofir Natalie Korsia was crowned Miss Universe Israel 2024 in a national competition held on Sunday, September 29 at the Hilton Aventura Miami in Florida. The 23-year-old actress, dancer, and model from Rishon LeZion will now prepare to represent Israel at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. This year's event marked the return of Israel to the Miss Universe pageant after a 2-year hiatus. A total of eight contestants competed for the crown. It was organized under the new national director Edgar Saakyan of Edgar Entertainment (USA), in partnership with Blue Ocean Venture Funds.
