Miss Slovenije 2022: Vida Milivojša to represent Slovenia at 71st Miss World


Vida Milivojša was crowned Miss Slovenije 2022 (Miss Slovenia) on Sunday, September 4 in the beautiful municipality of Braslovče.

The 23-year-old beauty from Ljubljana bested 15 other finalists to win her national title. She is a dancer and student pursuing a degree in marketing communication and public relations.

Hana Klaut, 26, and Talita Sofija Komelj, 22, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

To live up to its theme "Podjetništvo na podeželju" (Entrepreneurship in the countryside), this year's national competition was held in a venue rich in cultural and natural heritage and is home to successful domestic companies.

The new Miss Slovenije succeeds Maja Čolić and is now expected to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant on a date and venue yet to be announced.

The Top 40 contestants vying for the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022 (Jewel of the Philippines) pageant have been officially presented to the press on Wednesday, November 23 at the Citadines Bay City Manila. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the national competition was not held in 2020 and 2021. The winner of the upcoming 52nd edition is expected to represent the Philippines at Miss Asia Pacific International 2023 on a date and venue yet to be announced. Miss Georgia USA 2023 is Rachel Russaw

Miss Georgia South, Rachel Russaw, was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2023 on Saturday, November 19 at the Henry County Performing Arts Center in McDonough. The 24-year-old University of Alabama graduate with a degree in human environmental science is an entrepreneur, vlogger, and influencer living in Atlanta. She is also an advocate for mental health and uses her platform to motivate and empower women through #influenceherirl . "Last night my dream came true as I was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2023! Miss Venezuela 2022 is Diana Silva of Distrito Capital

Miss Distrito Capital, Diana Silva, bagged the title of Miss Venezuela 2022 during the 70th year anniversary edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant on Wednesday, November 16 at the Poliedro de Caracas. The 25-year-old cabin crew and advertising student succeeded last year's winner Amanda Dudamel and will now represent Venezuela at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant (Miss Universe 2023). Miss Korea 2022 is Lee Seung-hyun

Lee Seung-hyun, a 23-year-old economics student at Korea University was crowned Miss Korea 2022 in a glittering final held on Wednesday, October 26 at the Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Yoo Si-eun, 25, a student of aviation services, and Kim Go-eun, 22, a student of aviation and aeronautical engineering, were in second and third places, respectively. Out of 54 regional winners, only 30 finalists were selected to take part in the 66th edition of the national pageant. Mister Grand International 2022 is Michael Pelletier of Switzerland

Michael Pelletier, representing Switzerland, was proclaimed Mister Grand International 2022 on Friday, November 25 at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago. The 28-year-old fashion model from Perly, Geneva, succeeded last year's winner from Puerto Rico, Fernando Ezequiel Padin. He became the first representative from his country to win the international title. Miss Earth organization announced a few more delegates confirmed to participate in Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. After two virtual editions, this year's pageant themed “ME Loves Fauna” will be taking on a "hybrid format" with virtual and on-ground events in the host country.
