The Miss Grand International 2022 preliminary competition held at the Sentul International Convention Centre (SICC) in Bogor, Indonesia on Saturday, October 22 was a full show of glitz and glamour as the 68 contestants dazzled on stage in their evening gowns.

Tonight, the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant will take place at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Fifty-six contestants from around the world will be competing for the crown, 100,000 US dollars in cash, and a luxury apartment in Vietnam for one year. Tonight's grand final show will be hosted by former Miss International Kylie Verzosa from the Philippines and Vietnamese award-winning TV personality Bui Duc Bao. Phan Le Hoang An and Vinh Phu are the commentators. Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Manuel Romo of Spain and Favour Ogbuokiri of Nigeria were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Luiz Mascarenhas of Brazil and Patrick Pho-ngam Forstner of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Valeria Vasilieva was crowned Miss Universe Estonia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Tuesday, October 1 in Tallinn. The 22-year-old entrepreneur, actress, and designer bested 10 other finalists to win the title. She was crowned by former titleholder, Miss Universe Estonia 2012 Natalie Korneitsik. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. Aside from the crown, she also bagged the Fan Favorite and Miss Photogenic awards. Yan Kiu and Juliette Louie were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The 23-year-old actress, dancer, and model from Rishon LeZion will now prepare to represent Israel at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. This year's event marked the return of Israel to the Miss Universe pageant after a 2-year hiatus. A total of eight contestants competed for the crown.
