Miss Earth Slovenije 2022 is Lea Prstec


Lea Prstec was crowned Miss Earth Slovenije 2022 (Miss Earth Slovenia) on Saturday, October 8 at the La Vie hall in Kostanjevica na Krki.

The 21-year-old beauty from Ptuj beat 11 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Asja Bonnie Pivk and will now prepare to represent Slovenia at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November.

Neja Prosenjak, Špela Sever, and Evelin Sadek were named Miss Earth - Air, Miss Earth - Water and Miss Earth - Fire Slovenije 2022, respectively.

Neža Lozej and Tiara Križnik completed the Top 6 finalists.

María Vargas of Jalisco beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Mexico 2026 on Saturday, August 29 at Tierra Sagrada in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. The 28-year-old model and businesswoman from Guadalajara will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Mariana Macías of Michoacán finished as first runner-up while Fernanda Abaroa of Guerrero, Génesis Vera of Veracruz, and Ximena Ochoa of Ciudad de México placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Caitlin Worthington was declared the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2026 at the national final on Wednesday, August 26, held at the Crown Melbourne. The 28-year-old radiographer and model from Brisbane succeeds her predecessor Lexie Brant. She will represent Australia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Miss World 2026: Meet the continental winners of the Head-to-Head Challenge

The Head-to-Head Challenge for Miss World 2026 took place on August 22 and 24 at the Khanh Hoa Children's Palace in Nha Trang, Vietnam. During the event, all contestants presented themselves and shared speeches about their initiatives. From each continental group, five contestants were selected to move on to the second round, where four continental winners were determined. The continental winners were Romanda Hombir from South Africa, Georgia-Lee Gill from Trinidad and Tobago, Asia Rose Simpson from the Philippines, and Julia Kühnle from Germany. By winning their respective continental groups, they have already earned their spots in the Top 40. Based on their answers during the final round, one of them will be declared the overall challenge winner and will automatically progress to the Top 20.
