MGI 2022 contestants strut the runway at Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week


Miss Grand International 2022 contestants had the chance to wear Muslim clothing as they made a special appearance at the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2023.

Held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang Regency, the MGI beauties walked the runway during the annual event on Friday, October 21 wearing the latest trends and collections of Indonesian Muslim fashion.

Today's activity was one of the highlights of the last few days leading up to the highly anticipated Miss Grand International 2022 grand coronation show which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25.

Don't miss the crucial preliminary competition tomorrow, October 22 live from the Sentul International Convention Centre where 68 contestants present their physiques and elegance to the judges for a spot in the final.

Miss Universe 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kj忙r Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Following the withdrawal of several countries including Cameroon, Germany, Iceland, Kenya, Mongolia, and Montenegro, 122 contestants from various countries and territories are left competing for the coveted international beauty title. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzo谩tegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Kar铆n Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa P茅rez of Distrito Capital, Saril茅 Gonz谩lez of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Peru 2025 is Karla Bacigalupo

Karla Bacigalupo was crowned Miss Peru 2025 (Miss Universe Peru 2025) in a national competition held last Sunday, June 15 in the historic city of Cusco. The 33-year-old actress and producer will now prepare to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2025 to be held in Thailand this November. Former Reina Hispanoamerican Maricielo Gamarra was announced as first runner-up while former Top Model of the World Janet Leyva finished as the second runner-up. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from S茫o Sebasti茫o, Set煤bal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent T眉rkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Universe Chile 2025 is Inna Moll from Vitacura

Inna Moll, representing Vitacura, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2025 in a national competitipn held on Friday, August 1 in Santiago. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Martina Kriskovich of Huechuraba was named first runner-up while Mar铆a Jes煤s Honorato of Las Condes, Scarlett Hermosilla of Lo Barnechea, and Paula Jim茅nez of Providencia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe C么te d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yac茅 has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. Elena Hidalgo was crowned Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 on Tuesday, September 10 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. Giulia Zanoni, representing La Uni贸n, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecle帽o in Santa Tecla. The 20-year-old international relations student succeeds last year's winner Florence Gisselle Garcia and will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
