MGI 2022 contestants strut the runway at Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week


Miss Grand International 2022 contestants had the chance to wear Muslim clothing as they made a special appearance at the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2023.

Held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang Regency, the MGI beauties walked the runway during the annual event on Friday, October 21 wearing the latest trends and collections of Indonesian Muslim fashion.

Today's activity was one of the highlights of the last few days leading up to the highly anticipated Miss Grand International 2022 grand coronation show which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25.

Don't miss the crucial preliminary competition tomorrow, October 22 live from the Sentul International Convention Centre where 68 contestants present their physiques and elegance to the judges for a spot in the final.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Hosted by "Súper Sábado Sensacional" presenter Henrys Silva, the special show aired on Venevisión with simultaneous live streaming on missvenezuela.tv . The reigning queens, Miss Venezuela 2021 Amanda Dudamel, Miss Venezuela World 2021 Ariagny Daboin, and Miss International Venezuela 2020 Isbel Parra were also present for the sashing ceremony. 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. The long wait is almost over as the Miss USA 2022 pageant will be held this Monday, October 3 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada where the next US representative to Miss Universe will be selected. Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti was crowned Miss France 2026 on Saturday, December 6 at the Zénith d'Amiens in Amiens, Hauts-de-France. The 23-year-old model bested 29 other contestants to win the prestigious national pageant. She succeeds Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique. Juliette Collet of Nouvelle-Calédonie was named first runner-up while Victoire Dupuis of Normandie, Naomi Torrent of Guadeloupe, and Déborah Adelin-Chabal of Roussillon placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Australia 2024: Meet the finalists from South Australia

The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi. Miss Suriname 2025 is Chiara Wijntuin

Chiara Wijntuin was crowned Miss Suriname 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 2 at the Assuria Event Center in Paramaribo. The 21-year-old student bested 14 other contestants to win the title and she is now expected to represent Suriname at Miss Universe 2025. Kyran Rampersad and Kimberly Kersting were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Suriname has officially returned to the Miss Universe pageant this year with Pooja Chotkan who was appointed Miss Universe Suriname 2024 in August.
