Miss Grand International 2022 is Isabella Menin of Brazil


Isabella Menin of Brazil was crowned Miss Grand International 2022 in a glittering grand final competition held on Tuesday, October 25 at the Sentul International Convention Centre in Bogor, Indonesia.

The 26-year-old model and entrepreneur beat 67 other contestants to win her country's first-ever golden crown. She succeeds last year's winner Nguyen Thuy Thuc Tien of Vietnam.

Thailand's Engfa Waraha was named first runner-up while Indonesia's Andina Julie, Venezuela's Luiseth Materán, and Czech Republic's Mariana Bečková finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 and were announced fifth runners-up were from Cambodia, Pich Votey Saravody, Colombia, Priscilla Londoño, Puerto Rico, Oxana Rivera, Mauritius, Yuvna Rinishta (Miss Popular Vote), and Spain, Hirisley Jimenez.

The rest of the Top 20 were from Curacao, Kanisha Sluis, Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, Dominican Republic, Jearmanda Ramos, Honduras, Saira Cacho, Mexico, Laysha Salazar, Nigeria, Damilola Bolarinde, Paraguay, Agatha Leon, Peru, Janet Leyva, Philippines, Roberta Tamondong, United Kingdom, Sofia Mayers, and Vietnam, Doan Thien An.

The new Miss Grand International hails from Marília and is a graduate of the University College London with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in finance. She founded Beyond Project, an organization that aims to help support associations for people with disabilities.

Isabella is passionate about experiencing different cultures and is a self-confessed foodie. She is fluent in English and Spanish and can communicate well in French and Italian.

This year's pageant was the 10th edition of Miss Grand International which was founded in 2013. The spectacular final show also featured on stage all former MGI queens.

As previously announced, the Top 10 finalists will stay one week in Jakarta for a media tour before heading to Bangkok where MGI is based. They are also expected to travel to several countries as part of the pageant's 10th-year anniversary world tour.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 is Sabrina Deraneck

Sabrina Deraneck was proclaimed Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 on Saturday, August 13 at Teatro Municipal de Caracas (Municipal Theater of Caracas). The 23-year-old teacher by profession from the state of Mérida will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Alia Abized, 19, of Nueva Esparta, and Valentina Martinez, 22, of Anzoátegui were named Miss Elite Venezuela and Miss Grand Venezuela 2023, respectively. They are expected to compete in next year's Miss Elite World and Miss Grand International editions. A total of 22 beauties participated during the first edition of Miss Grand Venezuela. Mike van Wijk to represent the Netherlands at 7th Mister Global in Thailand

Mike van Wijk has been named the new Mister Global Netherlands and will represent his country at the 7th Mister Global pageant in Thailand next month. The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Sint-Michielsgestel currently works in construction and plans to open his own personal trainer studio in the future. He was a runner-up in Misters of the Netherlands 2021 and was originally supposed to join 21th edition of Manhunt International. Mister Global pageant will be hosting its 7th edition on March 15 in Mahasarakham, Thailand. Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Panasaya Angelica Damaagd of Buriram was names first runner-up while Ilin Nabsuk of Phuket, Natthakitta Kerdkanchiroj of Saraburi, and Naruemol Chaloemroek of Sukhothai were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
