Miss Universe Argentina 2022 is Bárbara Cabrera


Bárbara Cabrera has been officially announced on Sunday, October 2 as Miss Universe Argentina 2022.

The 26-year-old textile entrepreneur and model from Buenos Aires will now prepare to represent Argentina at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January.

No stranger to pageantry, Bárbara was named Miss Eco Argentina 2020 and went on to compete in Miss Eco International 2021 in Egypt where she placed in the Top 20 and bagged the Best in Evening Gown award.

"My heart explodes with happiness to be able to officially tell you that I will proudly represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2022," she wrote in Spanish on social media.

"Those who know me know that it was always my big dream. Today thanks to a lot of work and the team that accompanies me, I am fulfilling it," she added.

Argentina has won Miss Universe once with Norma Beatriz Nolan in 1962. Its last placement was in 2020 with Alina Luz Akselrad who finished in the Top 21.

The Miss Universe Organization has just announced that Miss Universe 2026 final competition tickets completely sold out within just 48 hours of becoming available for purchase. This year's much awaited pageant will conclude on November 24 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mexico's Andrés Briseño wins Mister International 2026

The 18th Mister International pageant wrapped up with an electrifying final show on Saturday, September 26 at MCC Hall Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. Andrés Briseño, a 21-year-old athlete and law student from Mexico, was proclaimed Mister International 2026. This remarkable achievement marks a historic moment as he becomes the first Mexican ever to claim this prestigious title. Perla Harb will represent Lebanon at the 75th Miss Universe pageant (Miss Universe 2026) taking place in Puerto Rico this November. Nguyen Quynh Anh was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 on Friday, October 2 at The Opera in Hai Phong. She takes over the crown from the previous year's reigning queen, Nguyen Huong Giang. The 27-year-old model hailing from Hanoi will now prepare to represent Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, which will take place in Puerto Rico this November. Sabrina Deraneck was proclaimed Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 on Saturday, August 13 at Teatro Municipal de Caracas (Municipal Theater of Caracas). The 23-year-old teacher by profession from the state of Mérida will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Alia Abized, 19, of Nueva Esparta, and Valentina Martinez, 22, of Anzoátegui were named Miss Elite Venezuela and Miss Grand Venezuela 2023, respectively.
