Miss Universe Argentina 2024 is Magalí Benejam Corthey

Magalí Benejam Corthey, representing Córdoba, was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2024 on Saturday, May 25 at Auditorio de Belgrano in Buenos Aires. The 29-year-old model, actress and astrology student bested 27 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She succeeds last year's winner Yamile Dajud. Yoana Don of Santa Fe was named first runner-up while Selene Bublitz of Corrientes, María José Caram of Chaco, Ana Paula Brizuela of La Rioja, and Agostina Caute of Islas del Atlántico Sur were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively. This year's competition was hosted by former titleholder Julieta Garcia. Top 15 semifinalist Alejandra Rodríguez of Buenos Aires made history as the oldest contestant at age 60. The new Miss Universe Argentina will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2024 to be held in Mexico later this year. Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. The grand final for this year's Miss Universe Argentina will be held on May 25 and the winner will go to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Miss Universe Argentina 2023 is Yamile Dajud of Río Negro

Yamile Dajud, representing Río Negro, was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, August 6 at the Sala del Sol in San Juan. The 27-year-old social communication graduate currently pursuing a law degree bested 21 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Bárbara Cabrera and will now prepare to represent Argentina at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Elena Mateo of Tucumán and Lali Dieguez of Neuquén were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Martina Botero of Antártida, Milagros Irrazabal of Entre Ríos, and Melany Gonzalez of Santa Cruz rounded out the Top 6 finalists. The rest of the Top 12 semifinalists were the representatives of Catamarca, Martina Tapia, Corrientes, Angelina Del Mar, Formosa, Renata Pascotto, Misiones, Daiana Pereyra, San Luis, Milagros Lujan, and Santiago del Estero, Oriana Llebeili. Keno Manzur acquires Miss Universe license for Argentina, applications now open for Miss Universo Argentina 2023 After Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, Argentina has also entered a new era in pageantry with a new national director for Miss Universe Argentina and he is no other than Keno Manzur. A commercial engineer by profession, Keno has many years of experience in beauty pageants. He also holds licenses for Miss Earth, Miss World, and Miss Universe Chile, among others. Besides running prestigious national beauty pageants, he also established Escuela Supermiss, a training school for aspiring beauty queens in Chile and Argentina. Applications are now open for Miss Universo Argentina 2023. Argentinian nationals, 18 to 27 years, mothers, and pregnant women with any marital status are welcome to apply. Former Miss Universe Argentina and fellow beauty queen secretly wed

Former Miss Universe Argentina Mariana Valera and fellow beauty queen from Puerto Rico, Fabiola Valentín, revealed they had secretly tied the knot after keeping their relationship private for a long time. Their intimate wedding ceremony took place last Friday, October 28 in San Juan, Puerto Rico where same-sex marriage has been legal since 2015. Back in 2019, they both tried to join Miss Universe but while Mariana won her national title and went on to compete in the prestigious pageant in Atlanta, Georgia, Fabiola was not lucky enough to take home the Miss Universe Puerto Rico title as she only placed in the Top 3. Bárbara Cabrera has been officially announced on Sunday, October 2 as Miss Universe Argentina 2022. The 26-year-old textile entrepreneur and model from Buenos Aires will now prepare to represent Argentina at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. No stranger to pageantry, Bárbara was named Miss Eco Argentina 2020 and went on to compete in Miss Eco International 2021 in Egypt where she placed in the Top 20 and bagged the Best in Evening Gown award. "My heart explodes with happiness to be able to officially tell you that I will proudly represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2022," she wrote in Spanish on social media. Argentina's Alina Luz Akselrad has departed for the USA after completing her self-quarantine and finally tested negative for COVID-19. The 23-year-old writer and volunteer will compete with over 70 other beauties vying for the 69th Miss Universe title at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on May 16. During her departure, Alina took to social media to share a personal message for her country. She wrote: "I am just a passenger destined to be happy.
