Miss Jamaica World 2022 is Shanique Singh


Shanique Singh was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2022 from a field of 13 competitors on Sunday, December 4 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston.

The 25-year-old medical student at the University of the West Indies also won the Beach Beauty, Talent, and Beauty With A Purpose fast track events. She has now succeeded last year's titleholder Khalia Hall and will now prepare to represent Jamaica at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Lineisha Davis and Tahje Bennett were respectively announced as the first and second runners-up while Asheka Robinson and Toni-Ann Martin rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

The new Miss Jamaica World will now embark on a wonderful journey of a lifetime raising her flag on the global stage and following the incredible footsteps of her predecessors. Her Beauty With A Purpose project is focused on the holistic approach to the reproductive and sexual health of females.

Jamaica has won the Miss World crown four times with Miss World 1963 Carole Crawford, Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1993 Lisa Hanna, and Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh.

The Miss Universe Organization has just announced that Miss Universe 2026 final competition tickets completely sold out within just 48 hours of becoming available for purchase. This year's much awaited pageant will conclude on November 24 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although the final competition has already sold out, you can still secure tickets for the National Costume Show and Preliminary Competition through ticketera.com . Dominika Viktorie Kotoučková is the new Miss Universe Czech Republic

Dominika Viktorie Kotoučková has taken on the role of Miss Universe Czech Republic 2026 following Sophia Maria Osako's decision to resign. "Representing the Czech Republic is a great honor and a great responsibility. After careful consideration of all circumstances, I have decided to pass the participation in the international competition to another candidate," Sophia shared. Saffron Maya Snook from Thailand has won Miss Global 2026 on Sunday, October 11 at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 24-year-old beauty bested 60 other contestants to win the beauty title. She became the first Thai woman to become Miss Global. María Alejandra López Pérez was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2026 on Saturday, October 10 in Barranquilla. The 32-year-old model and engineer from Risaralda will represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this coming November. Andrés Briseño, a 21-year-old athlete and law student from Mexico, was proclaimed Mister International 2026.
