71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel kicks off media week


Following her well-deserved victory at the 71st Miss Universe pageant, the first Miss USA to win the crown in 10 years R'Bonney Gabriel immediately flew to New York to kick off her reign.

Her first official week as the new Miss Universe started with a media tour and her first stop in "The Big Apple" on Monday, January 16 was an interview with Good Morning America on ABC.

Wearing her own designed outfit, her official Miss Universe sash, and the Mouawad "Force for Good" crown, the 28-year-old fashion designer talked about her historic win in New Orleans.

On being the first Filipino-American to become Miss Universe, she said: "Oh my gosh, well, Filipinos are so happy. They are just over the moon about it. It's a huge win for the community and just representation — it's an honor."

Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Miss Universe 2025 competition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand

The 74th Miss Universe pageant has officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand, as over 120 beauties from across the world gather to vie for the most coveted crown. Clad in their arrival ensembles, the contestants were escorted to the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, one of the official accommodations for this year's event. Following their arrivals, among the initial official activities lined up for the contestants were registrations, photoshoots, fittings, and rehearsals for the grand finale. Sarah Leena Boujaoude to represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025

Miss Lebanon 2024 first runner-up Sarah Leena Boujaoude has recently been officially appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2025. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. The 27-year-old mother, model and scientist from Prague will represent the Czech Republic at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Completing the Top 4 finalists were Eva Brožková, Petra Šafránková, and Sarah Duong Vu Thi Thuy. The 30-year-old international model and human rights advocate residing in Los Angeles, California will represent Armenia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe Laos 2025 is Lattana Munvilay

Lattana Munvilay was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2025 last Sunday, September 21 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Vientiane. The 31-year-old model and actress from Salavan province succeeds last year's winner Phiranya Thipphomvong. She will represent Laos at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Soudavone Inthavong of Luang Namtha and Lothjana Khounnavong of Houaphanh were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Laos has already joined the national competition twice. She placed second runner-up in 2019 and 2022. Lattana graduated from Vientiane High School and went on to study architecture at the National University of Laos. She has been modeling since 2017 and also appeared in a Laotian drama film "The Long Walk" directed by Mattie Do.
