Femina Miss India 2023 is Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan


Miss Rajasthan, Nandini Gupta, bested 29 other competitors to win Femina Miss India 2023 on Saturday, April 15 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal, Manipur.

The 19-year-old model and business management student at Lala Lajpat Rai College received her crown from last year's winner Sini Shetty of Karnataka. She is now expected to represent India at the Miss World 2024 pageant.

Miss Delhi, Shreya Poonja, and Miss Manipur, Thounaojam Strela Luwang were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 7 were representatives of Chhattisgarh, Aditi Sharma, Karnataka, Megan Edward, Kerala, Christeena Biju, and Maharashtra, Apurva Chavan.

The rest of the Top 12 semifinalists were from Assam, Anushka Lekharu, Himachal Pradesh, Nikeet Dhillon, Sikkim, Zaanvii Sharma, Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Sharma, and West Bengal, Shaswati Bala.

Hosted by actor, TV personality, and stand-up comedian Maniesh Paul with actress co-host Bhumi Pednekar, the Femina Miss India 2023 grand final will broadcast on May 14 exclusively on Colors.

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Valeria Vasilieva was crowned Miss Universe Estonia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Tuesday, October 1 in Tallinn. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. Aside from the crown, she also bagged the Fan Favorite and Miss Photogenic awards. Yan Kiu and Juliette Louie were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.
