Miss Arkansas USA 2023 is Mackenzie Hinderberger
Miss Farmington, Mackenzie Hinderberger, was crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2023 in a state competition held on Sunday, April 30 at the ArcBest Corporation Performing Arts Center in Fort Smith.
The 24-year-old former Miss Arkansas Teen USA from Fayetteville is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a 3rd Grade teacher, and a dance coach.
After Miss Teen USA 2018, Mackenzie persistently joined the Miss Arkansas USA pageant three times before finally winning the title. She was a semifinalist in 2020, second runner-up in 2021, and first runner-up in 2022.
"It is such an honor and privilege to wear this state across my chest. Longer post to come but right now, all glory to God. His timing is ALWAYS perfect," she wrote in a statement on social media.
Mackenzie now succeeds last year's winner Rylie Wagner and will prepare to represent the state of Arkansas at Miss USA 2023 edition in Reno, Nevada later this year.
Her court of runners-up includes Sydney Johnson of Washington County, Sydney Wendfeldt of Sweetheart of Arkansas, Tori Stanley of Windsor Lake, and Kylee Jo Braley of Southwest Arkansas.
Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2023 Mackenzie Scott, who will go to Miss Teen USA 2023, was also crowned by her predecessor Allie Shanks. The teen's runners-up consist of Jewella Reece, Maddox White, Sarah Lomax, and Addie Rose Castleberry.
