Miss Namibia 2023: Meet the Top 10 finalists

From the 30 semifinalists revealed on March 25, only the Top 10 will now proceed to the grand final on July 8 at the MTC Dome in Swakopmund.

The official announcement of the finalists came after the preliminary show held on Saturday, May 13 at the Droombos Vineyard Country Lodge in Windhoek.

The winner and runners-up are expected to represent Namibia at Miss Universe 2023, Miss World 2024, and Miss Earth 2023.

Last year's titleholder, Cassia Sharpley, who went on to participate in Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans last January, will relinquish her reign at the end of the event.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) announced in March its acquisition of full ownership of the Miss Namibia organization.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. Meet the newly crowned Reina Filipinas 2026 queens

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Alexie Caimoso Brooks, former Miss Eco International winner, from Iloilo and Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz, former Miss International Queen Philippines, from Manila were both crowned Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. "Today starts a new phase filled with dreams, challenges and great opportunities. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. The new Miss Netherlands is no stranger to pageantry. She has previously competed in Miss Intercontinental where she made the Top 20 and Miss Grand International where she placed 5th runner-up. Sayuki Ito was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2026 on Tuesday, June 23 at the Shibuya City Cultural Center in Tokyo. The 26-year-old beauty from Fukuoka Prefecture will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Jasmyn Mimi Johnson and Erika Watanabe were named the first and second runners-up, respectivel, while Seiyu Hata and Mone Gibo completed the Top 5 finalists. The Miss Philippines 2026 titleholders officially crowned

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Hosted by former titleholder and Miss Supranational runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, the glittering event was graced by reigning international queens Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist and Miss Charm 2025 Anna Blanco. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Iran 2022 Mahrou Ahmadi to compete in Miss Earth 2022

Miss Iran 2022 Mahrou Ahmadi has been officially announced to represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November. The 24-year-old beauty will be the second Iranian representative at Miss Earth and the first one to participate in a live competition. Last year's Miss Iran, Hima Zaker, the first-ever Miss Earth Iran, joined the virtual edition during the COVID-19 pandemic.
