Miss International Queen 2023 is Solange Dekker of the Netherlands


Solange Dekker of the Netherlands was crowned Miss International Queen 2023 on Saturday, June 24 at the Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand.

The 27-year-old beauty from Amsterdam bested over 20 other competitors to win the coveted international title — a historic first for her country. She succeeds last year's winner from the Philippines, Fuchsia Anne Ravena.

Qatrisha Zairyah Kamsir of Singapore and Melony Munro of the USA were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 6 finalists were from Mexico, Ivanna Cazares, the Philippines, Lars Pacheco, and Thailand, Arissara Kankla.

The rest of the Top 11 semifinalists were the representatives from China, Mika, Colombia, Ange La Furcia, Spain, Victoria Fernandes, Venezuela, Miranda Monasterios, and Vietnam, Nguyen Ha Diu Thao.

This year's glittering event marked the 17th edition of the world's biggest beauty pageant for transgender women.

No stranger to pageantry, Solange started her pageant career when she participated in Miss Trans Star International 2019 in Spain. Last year, she became a finalist at the Miss Nederland (Miss Universe Netherlands) pageant where she bagged the Miss Social Media award.
