Zuleihat Yusuf represents Nigeria at Miss Teen International 2023 in Cambodia


The Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) organization officially announced Zuleihat Yusuf Oyarazi as Nigeria's representative for Miss Teen International 2023 in Cambodia.

Prior to her quest to become the first Nigerian and African beauty to win the international title, the Kogi-born model was declared fifth runner-up during the 15th BAIP finals in Abuja last year.

BAIP believes that with Zuleihat's exceptional modeling skills and elegant physical attributes, the 20-year-old will make a lasting impression on the global stage.

"She will bring a distinctive blend of Nigerian culture, style, and grace to the global platform, showcasing the rich heritage and diversity of Nigeria to an international audience," reads an official announcement on social media.

This year's Miss Teen International 2023 final competition will be held on Saturday, June 24 in the Cambodian capital city of Phnom Penh.

Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel visits El Salvador

Fresh from her Paris Fashion Week debut, the reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA touched down in El Salvador for the first time today. According to the beauty queen, she will be in the Central American country for a week to start filming for the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 competition. "It is my first time here, I'm very excited, I've heard amazing things about El Salvador. I'm looking for some of the best pupusas here in the country and I'm looking forward to just exploring the beauty that this country has to offer," she shared on social media. Former Miss Earth USA Bea Millan-Windorski joins Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. At just 24 years old, she is well-acquainted with the world of pageantry, having participated in Miss Earth USA 2024 in Orlando, Florida, where she clinched the title while representing Wisconsin. This achievement made her the first Filipino-American to secure the national title. Singer-songwriter Sigga Ózk crowned Miss Iceland 2026

Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Aníta Mist Davíðsdóttir was named first runner-up while Elínborg Hrannarsdóttir, Nadía Líf Pálsdóttir, Soffía Ellín Stella Gísladóttir were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
