Miss Grand Japan 2023 is Yayoi Machida


Yayoi Machida was crowned Miss Grand Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, July 16 at the Tokyo FM Hall in Tokyo.

The 26-year-old beauty from Tokyo bested 13 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds Seira Inoue and will now represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October.

Karina Yamada was named first runner-up while Yuka Oyama, Taeko Yoshida, and Yuki Furihata were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively, while Mizuki Ueda and Saki Inoue rounded out the Top 7 finalists.

The new Miss Grand Japan also bagged the Best in Evening Gown, Miss Popular, and the Mix Chanel Award.

Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland was crowned Miss Norway 2025 (Miss Universe Norway 2025) in a national competition held on Saturday, August 30 at Gateway Studios in Fornebu. The 19-year-old beauty from Oslo will represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lilly Sødal. Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational.
