Miss Grand Japan 2023 is Yayoi Machida


Yayoi Machida was crowned Miss Grand Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, July 16 at the Tokyo FM Hall in Tokyo.

The 26-year-old beauty from Tokyo bested 13 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds Seira Inoue and will now represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October.

Karina Yamada was named first runner-up while Yuka Oyama, Taeko Yoshida, and Yuki Furihata were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively, while Mizuki Ueda and Saki Inoue rounded out the Top 7 finalists.

The new Miss Grand Japan also bagged the Best in Evening Gown, Miss Popular, and the Mix Chanel Award.

Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. The 36-year-old entrepreneur, stylist and photographer will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Luissa Burton and Leigh Hutchinson were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Christina Chalk crowned her successor at the end of the event. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Regi贸n Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists.
