Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera returns home to Ecuador


Andrea Aguilera touched down in Ecuador on Monday, July 24 for her homecoming since winning the 14th Miss Supranational pageant in Poland.

The 22-year-old received a warm welcome from her supporters at the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. She then hopped on a red sports car for her victory parade through the streets of Guayaquil.

Following her arrival, an official press conference was hosted for her homecoming at Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil.

"I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me words of kindness and support. It's teamwork and you are my team. Without you, I probably would not be standing here today, feeling so happy and excited," she shared.

Andrea was crowned Miss Supranational 2023 from a field of 65 competitors last July 14 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sącz, in the Polish region of Małopolska.

Her victory was historic as it was the first time for an Ecuadorian representative to take home the title. She was also the second South American winner since Stephania Stegman of Paraguay in 2015.

The Top 12 for best national costume at Miss Earth 2023 has been officially announced. Three costumes that received the most votes from each continental group make up the finalists. Online voting was conducted on Miss Earth's official Facebook page following the national costume competition held on Saturday, December 16 at the Van Thanh Flower Village in Dalat, Vietnam. Jan Carrasco was proclaimed Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2023 on Saturday, April 22 at the Auditorio Patrick N. Hughson in Santo Domingo. The 29-year-old actor and photographer representing Santiago bested 14 other competitors to win the national competition. He succeeded Lewis Echavarria and will now prepare for Mister Supranational 2023 to be held in Poland this July. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Cora Bliault was crowned Miss Earth Thailand 2023 in a glittering competition held on Friday, September 1 at the Grand Ballroom of the InterContinental Bangkok.
