Miss Grand Cuba 2023 is Sofia Acosta


Former Miss Supranational USA Sofia Acosta was crowned Miss Grand Cuba in a national competition on Sunday, August 20 held at Marriott Tampa Westshore.

The 26-year-old Cuba-born model residing in Miami will now prepare to represent Cuba at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this coming October.

Sofia is currently a construction management student at Florida International University while working as an assistant project manager for Miami-Dade County.

With her advocacy on education, she volunteers with a number of community organizations including Kiwanis of Little Havana, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Global Empowerment Mission

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Grand Cuba previously held the title Miss Supranational USA and went on to participate in Miss Supranational 2022 held in Nowy Sącz, Poland.

In a post on social media after winning her new title, she wrote: "Today, in front of the world, I am Cuba with immense pride. I represent modern-day Cuba, which persists tirelessly in the pursuit of its dreams."

"And what defines us Cubans is the tenacity and resilience we show in the face of any adversity."

Miss Norway 2025 is Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland from Oslo

Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland was crowned Miss Norway 2025 (Miss Universe Norway 2025) in a national competition held on Saturday, August 30 at Gateway Studios in Fornebu. The 19-year-old beauty from Oslo will represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lilly Sødal. Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Isabela Fernandez was proclaimed Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 on Wednesday, October 8 at the Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City, Philippines. The 28-year-old model from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais beat over 40 other contestants to win the international beauty title. Valeria Baladan Liste was crowned Miss Universe Uruguay 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, September 10 at  Hotel Esplendor Cervantes in Montevideo. The 24-year-old model and student representing Montevideo succeeds last year's winner Yanina Lucas. She will now prepare to represent Uruguay at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. The 26-year-old professional model and fashion sciences graduate from Anzio triumphed over 20 other contestants to win the national title.
